Do you think they’ll get the ask?

Not a chance.

Interesting side note, wsj article on top trends on their way out had black plumbing fixtures as number one.

Exactly what has been said throughout this thread….tacky, bad taste, and passé.

Houses in this neighborhood will sell for over $3 million, but they will have better layouts, better design, and better features.

This. The $3 million precedent has already been set in CCDC. If this house doesn’t get 3, it’s not because the market can’t bear it. It’s because the layout is horrendous with that god awful balcony overlooking the basement, and the interior is equally terrible.

I really don’t like the house but the color of the plumbing fixtures is an easily understood cost. Idk for a house this size, to replace all the hardware might cost $5-15k and an afternoon or two for a handyman? It’s not insignificant but it should hardly be a major factor. That would be like not buying a house because you didn’t like the paint color or whatever.

I guess I just don’t understand why people on This Board fixate so much on cosmetic stuff like this. Just put it on your list for decorating when you move in. It’s not an important part of the actual house.

I assume the listing was pulled because of all the legal problems

Is “legal problems” a way of saying it wasn’t priced right?

Sure sure. That is one non legal problem. Claims in listing are actual legal issues.

Interesting that the thread suddenly got a lot shorter.

My mistake. Ignore, please.

And......we are back active. Note parking spots are out of the listing.

So we are back to $3.3 with no garage or shed.

DP here. Why do you insist that this is a flip when it is clearly not? Makes you sound like an idiot.
