Are you as obsessed with the Royal Wedding as I am?

It seems anymore that most everyone is a naysayer. I am tired of bad sports. I am very excited about the Royal Wedding and am taking off work. I remember how exciting Di's wedding was? Anyone else? Or, will we get tons of snarky replies reminding us we broke off from Britain for a reason? Save your nasties ladies!

I'm a guy and I'm more excited about it than my wife.

I am 100% not interested. Genuinely and not snark-ily at all - what about this is interesting?

Taking off work??? You have nothing better to do with your time off?

I'm thrilled and excited. I'm not working tomorrow (I work part-time, but even if I were slated to work I would take the day off) and plan to DVR it, then zoom back home after dropping DC off at school to enjoy a cup of coffee, a scone, and the wedding.

Can't.wait.

I'm getting my kid out of bed - we've been talking about doing this since the wedding was announced. I did it with my mom for Charles and Di and Andrew and Fergie. We've been watching the specials all week. I have watched the Lifetime movie - twice.

I just love the spectacle and ceremony part of it. Plus, I think they are just a very sweet, as normal as you can be in this situation couple.

Im excited considering going to the ritz for their party at 6 am!

I'm excited to go to an early morning party, I'll admit.

It's just good, silly fun!

I have zero interest and cannot understand the interest. We had a revolution to get rid of such silliness, and the whole idea of royalty offends me. If you are British, sure watch it if you must.

Now THAT sounds fun -- I had no idea!

The Ritz sounds like tons of fun. Do they still have any spots?

we just created our own version of royalty with Hollywood - celebrity and the talentless bimbos who make millions for being pretty.

That's sweet pp. I remember when Lady DI died...I took my then 6 year-old DD to the British Embassy to pay respects. My DD still remembers us doing that together and getting special flowers to drop off for donations to local hospitals.
