Are you as obsessed with the Royal Wedding as I am?

I'm so excited. I have already DVRed a bunch of related specials and have it set to record the big event tomorrow. I won't be getting up at 3 am though. I just don't do well after missing sleep!

I think I'll be getting up at 4 or 5 am to watch

I'm going to a watching party!

Which channel do you think I should DVR for the best coverage????

I have Verizon Fios if it matters.

I am too lazy to get up at 4am. I do remember being on summer vacation at my grandmother's house in Connecticut and all of us watching Princess Diana's wedding...we left to drive back here the same day.

I love weddings...and I am dying to see her dress.

we just created our own version of royalty with Hollywood - celebrity and the talentless bimbos who make millions for being pretty.

hey, at least they became their celebrity based on looks or outrageousness or (god forbid) talent. Not because they were the eldest son of some dipshit.

PBS will carry BBC's coverage. That's the one I would record for viewing later.

Agree pp. Also there is a special BBC Channel -- we have RCN so I'm not sure which it would be on for other cable carriers.

OK, do you REALLY have a problem with William? He seems like a good kid to me. Obviously, he lived a life of priviledge, but he has tried to live a somewhat normal life. And when he does use his celebrity, it is for good. He's done lots of charity work in Africa - he and his brother, actually. Not to mention serving in the armed forces as a rescue pilot.

I think his mother would have been so incredibly proud of him and the man he has become, royal or not.

I'm fairly certain both the Ritz and o St mansion have spots left. Both seem fun. Google

Answering the original question - I don't care about that wedding at all. After all, it's just two people getting married, I don't know any of them personally, and I have to be up at 4 am to watch their ceremony? I think I'll pass. The only thing I'm remotedly interested in is Middleton's gown, but I'm sure there'll be plenty of pictures all over the Internet.
