It’s a pandemic and she has unvaccinated kids.

She was just at a packed sports stadium for back-to-back Wimbledon and Euro Cup match with-and-without her unvaccinated child. More like she + William just got back from a long overseas vacation for weeks (his deep tan gives him away). Not ruling anything else out either but this is their vacation time.

I think this is all it is. They are usually “off” late July through early September.

They're usually photographed on their way to, or even at, Balmoral though. Plus first day of school photos with the kids, which they've announced they're not doing this year for some reason.

I think she's going to turn up pregnant with #4. Probably hoping for a sister for Charlotte.

They've been quieter about things like vacations and Balmoral for the whole year. Maybe because of Covid. Anyway they did go to Balmoral with the kids for a week in like August. As for the first day photos, I'm convinced they don't want the public to realize that all three kids are in full-time private school now. Louis started the same school as the older kids last year and there were no photos. Hard to explain what Kate (and William if we want to be equal opportunity) are doing with all their time if their kids are gone 6 hours out of the day.

And its not like the Royal Rota isn't begging for the opportunity for special photos - they've been publicly crying on twitter about going broke in the last two years.

Kate fan girls have excused their work shy ways because they have small kids. But if you have three kids at school and nanny Maria what is the excuse? I’ll be even more curious what they come up with when they ship George off to boarding school next year.

She can choose to work or not. As much or as little as she likes. It’s fun to see that drive you haters crazy.

I wonder if PP is the resident Canadian who just can't wrap her around the fact that Americans have no reason to care about how often or little Kate works. Americans care about the weddings, jewels, clothes, etc. They don't pay for any of it and have zero vested interest beyond the superficial aspects. It would make little difference to Americans if the royal family ceased to exist. I don't spend a lot of time on Canadian message boards complaining about uniquely American problems. I wonder why she posts here?

DP. Perhaps because this thread is about the BRF and Canada does have a much more relevant perspective on all of this than we Americans do. You may not view Kate's work ethic as being particularly relevant to your American view of the BRF, but obviously citizens of countries whose tax dollars support the BRF have a different perspective.

DP. As background, one of Kate's weirder DCUM fans used to post some very, very strange stuff about imagining how Kate was her best mom friend. It IS a little strange that you have to immediately jump on every comment about her work, IMO.

I remember the "spreadsheet" post actually, and I don't use the term because it is embarrassing for the Kate fans. In the original spreadsheet post, the person linked to an image from a royalty watching blog. It was a chart created by the blog. But the Kate fans didn't understand the concept of web linked images, and started spinning up about how the poster was keeping spreadsheets and charts. They obviously didn't understand image linking. I would consider myself a Kate fan, but the spreadsheet posters are kind of embarrassing and dim, as they don't understand basic internet facts. So I don't use the term.

I work on climate change for a living and no one is talking about this. Could bring some attention to some projects, but is not a BIG deal.

They actually just released the news that her father died in April of this year and no one knew about it publicly until this week. She didn’t post anything on Instagram about her loss and neither did James Middleton.

One one hand that’s incredibly sad! On the other hand that seems exactly the type of SIL William was looking for. Someone who will minimize everything about herself, including the death of her father, in order to not take attention off the royals.

Keep in mind that Prince Phillip died in April as well and this was one month post-Oprah interview. I totally think she was ‘rewarded’ finally with the wedding.

Who are you to speak for all Americans, especially given the wild popularity Prince Harry has in the US. You sound ignorant. If anything, it's the opposite. Harry is the only prince that Americans care about.
