The press was practically salivating at the possibility of showing how well the BRF would do without them instead they've gotten cancelled weddings, cancelled major state ceremonies, practically zero royal appearances and hilariously enough - the entire family is separated for the whole year in different regions (or in Charles case - countries).

You think shit has gone downhill because the left? Not because we're, oh I don't know, in the middle of a global pandemic? You sound psycho.

Nope, I just think its funny. All those British press predictions of the family 'carrying on' and such without the Sussexs went right out the window.

Its as funny as the complete downfall of Harry and Meghan who haven’t exactly lived the holllywood life they envisioned, because of the pandemic. The only reason they have to dress up and be seen is to prance through a cemetery and look like utter fools on a solemn day. They are the gift that keeps on giving with their gaffes and ill advised moves.

Ehh I think the only thing H+M wanted from Hollywood was $$$. Which they got by the truckload. Since signing that deal they've: paid off the renovations + rental fees for years in advance for Frogmore Cottage, completely divested themselves from the $2.5 million annual budget Charles was providing previously, bought a $30 million California mansion, and leased (maybe bought?) a third U.K. home with separate cottages on-site for them to use if necessary.

If they just wanted notoriety they would have stayed in the U.K. They wanted money. They got it.

Sure but they lost the respect and admiration of many. That is priceless and can’t be bought . They wanted it all and didn’t get it.

I respect them for pulling away. Price Harry will never be King. Once Price William had children he was pushed out (no fault to anyone). He is basically doing Williams duties but never will get any of the true benefits. They deserve a life of their own.

Sure but they handlednit so badly. They flounced out thumbing their nose at the queen. No grace and no tact. Harry comes across as a petulant man child. And in what way is he doing Williams job? Harry seems to do whatever he wants and might benefit Harry the most.

I thought in the beginning great they’re on their own and making their own money without spending taxpayers! Welcome to America!
But they didn’t have to burn bridges by playing the victim and blaming and suing everyone for everything.
They could have accomplished independence and made money while still preserving family and friend relationships.

They’re officially D list now.

I had no idea she’d been married twice before.

How do people buy into her naive victim act? Bizarre.

She was married once before. That doesn’t make her a bad person.

I don’t really understand this frogmore cottage thing.

They’re “given” a property that was converted to staff offices that they never owned. The property was renovated, presumably to at least in some part to make it suitable as a residence, and the taxpayer was charged. Then they leave and pay back the renovations on this thing they don’t own and now Andrew’s daughter is living there?

Because personalizing and renovating a property is on their dime. They shouldn't have undertaken the project if they had no intention of living there. Looks like their loss is Jack and Eugenie's gain. Presumably they are paying rent. But if Harry and Meghan are as wealthy as some claim now then this is a drop in the bucket to them and not a big deal.

Truth hurts doesn't it.

For Harry and Meghan? They are complete laughingstocks. It’s amusing people think they are so very important. They are a joke we all love to laugh at.

Laughingstocks to whom, exactly? Most people that I know in the UK couldn’t care less, or are sympathetic to Harry. I’m Canadian and I wish them the best. I think it’s Americans who have the issue. You preach about the American dream, unless a biracial woman achieves it, then she should be torn down, along with everyone around her.

It's the American dream to become a British princess? That's cute. Since when?

Because Andrew’s daughter is a grifter and wants the Royal life. Harry and Meghan had so much clap back, they had no choice but to pay back. The house had obvious renovation needs in order to make it a family home, if you want research.

Difference is Eugenie has been trained to STFU and do whatever to keep her royal paycheque coming. Both of her parents have been forgiven countless things by the BRF. Conversely, Harry’s mother was more or less killed for them. He has no ties to the throne, really. Of course, we’ve been through this.

So you attribute the totality of critiques on her behavior to racial animus? That's a very nuanced and enlightened perspective. And the American dream, such as it is, does not include becoming a princess.

That's not what the American dream is. You know that, right? You're talking about a little girl's fantasy. Not the reason millions try to immigrate to the US for the chance at a better life.

If you're not bright enough to distinguish entertainment from the American dream then i don't believe I can help you.
