Then the GOP should have passed their own immigration reform bill that Biden said he would sign.

Trump told them not to, so they didn't.

GOP owns the issue now, and not in a good way.

If it were a serious problem, it would have been dealt with in a serious manner.

News Flash:

Trump HAD an effective border policy — until YOUR regime tore it down ON DAY ONE.

It was effective because he was breaking the law and then COVID happened and it dropped to virtually zero.

If it were a serious issue, the GOP would have passed legislation to deal with it. On several occasions since Reagan was in office, there was such an opportunity and each time, the GOP trashed it. So it is hard to take the whining seriously.

It is a serious issue, the GOP is demanding greater enforcement, and Biden’s own words on day one when he signed multiple relaxations on immigration proved where he stood on this issue. Kamala’s border failures as VP add to her political weakness on this.

If it’s a serious issue why did the GOP fail to pass their own bill on it when the President said he’d sign it?

Because…it sounds like it wasn’t serious enough for the republicans senators to do any work on it.

Because with everything else on the right, it's about scoring political points rather than actually DOING anything about it. These clowns mentioning the border knew there was an actual bill. The Dems called their bluff and Repubs did exactly what they always do...reject it for political gain.

You heard it here first.

Has Michelle ever been elected to anything?
Might as well choose a popular actor if we're throwing the need for experience out the window.

WTF is happening?

The Trump campaign is panicking that's what.

Does anyone else see Kamala’s husband, Doug Emhoff, as a liability here? Given all the anti-Semitic rhetoric of late I wonder how folks are going to feel about having a Jew as the first First Gentleman…. (I say this as a Jew who has been worried about folks saying they wouldn’t vote Biden given his actions with Israel).

Another reason I doubt it will be Shapiro as the VP btw…

No.

He is his own guy and isn't all that involved as a "second gentleman"

Why didn’t the GOP solve this when they had a majority and could’ve? I’m sick of the dishonesty. Both republicans and democrats do not want to solve the issues they bicker about, because then they wouldn’t have anything to bicker about to appeal to voters that this will be the “last election”

MAGA fan fic.

Especially since Michelle wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. She didn't want it for Barack and she doesn't want it for herself. She wants to live her life in peace.

Thank you!!!! I have been saying the same thing for a while now. Same goes for Hillary and Cassidy Hutchinson, who was always referred to as just Cassidy.

I’m not usually one to call out sexism but this seems pretty clear to me.

I think in her case, it's the usual racists and bigots on the right (who get so sensitive when you state the obvious about them being racists and bigots), calling her by her first name for the same reason they used Obama's middle name: They're soooo not "othering" her. We're supposed to play along w/ the fragile, little, faberge eggs on the right and pretend no racism.bigotry is involved in them using her first name.

Oh, good grief. Was HRC offended by being called "Hillary"? No, it was her campaign slogan. You need to take a deep breath and maybe sit with yourself for awhile. Not everything is clouded by "racism and bigotry."

Trump wasn’t elected for anything either but I’m going based on AOCs video yesterday and the rumor that donors hung up on Kamala. Donors don’t want to waste millions on a wasted candidate and no donors = no campaign which is why Biden was forced out. If Kamala doesn’t get the donors to warm up to her, then Mo will be brought in by force at the 11th hour and her husband will run the presidency yet again

Racists gotta racist.

What is racist about John Morgan?

There is minimal policy difference between Biden and Harris. If a Biden funder decides not to support Harris, then it is either race or gender that is triggering.

Or just maybe he doesn’t want to support a losing candidate???

President Biden’s announcement that he was dropping out of the 2024 race stunned a number of White House staffers who believed he would stay the course.

Many reportedly learned of the historic news from social media.

“We’re all finding out by tweet,” one Democrat close to the matter told Politico. “None of us understand what’s happening.”

I wouldn’t be surprised if Joe found out about it by tweet too.

After his nap.

Wow, what a burn! Meanwhile your boy fell asleep during his trial and while his kid DS were talking at the RNC.

Come on, folks. Trump needs his naps to keep up his energy. He also wears diapers, right? I mean, that's what we want out of a Presidential candidate. A senile old man in diapers. I guess that's the GOP problem now.

Everyone says he smells like poop.

Notice after lying to Americans for over 3 years, democrats think they are the righteous warriors of democracy, while talking about poop.

The comments about “poop” are so on-trend for Democrats.

The first comment was from somebody who said Biden was the first president to sh&$ his pants. But do go on.

Um, no it wasn’t. Read more carefully. You Ds are obsessed with $hit.

Yes, yes it was

Then post the exact quote. We'll wait.

There is nothing crazy or destabilizing about this.

She will have the needed delegates locked up this week, she will announce a VP pick sometime before the convention and everyone can move on.

The deception by this White House & the news media cannot go unnoticed.

You have got to be kidding. Everyone on both sides and every walk of life or media source has known that Joe was in declining health and experiencing dementia for quite awhile now. Of course the White House tried to contain that story while they figured out what to do next. But maybe you are also outraged at the media and the RNC for pretending that Trump is a stable genius here to save the world as if there's not a thing wrong with him, right?

They do it to republican women too. Someone Sarah Huckabee-Sanders’ long ass name is always typed out and said out loud. Marjorie Taylor Green is known as Marj or Marjorie, never Taylor Green or Green. AOC will never be “Cortez” it’s a really small thing, but definitely a thing only done to women.

It’s not sexism. It’s whichever is the easier to say and most identifiable. That’s why we have Pete. Who wants to say Huckabee Sanders?

Harris is easy to say.

Then enjoy saying it. I'll stick with Kamala.
