You ever see a thread on DCUM dealing with actual real soccer items go past 4 comments? 😂🤣

Heard this from a SoCal Soccer League board member.

I heard that the person on SoCal Soccer League site that's pushing all this joined 20 days ago and has been making unsubstantiated statements and telling everyone that they're true.

It's so strange to me that parents will believe anything as long as it aligns with what they want to be true.

Heard? It’s verifiable by looking at the posts/poster. And the same poster is here in this thread, as well as talking-soccer. A lot of his/her posts are copy-pastes across all the forums.

Regardless if a change happens or not…they’re an oddball poster that blows a lot of smoke. Way too invested in convincing people that a possibility is a surety.

This is true! Sorry for my friendship. Just thought I’d share what I’m hearing with you all. The socal market being on of the largest soccer markets we get lots of info down here.

Here’s another text my buddy received. Works for one of the big youth soccer leagues.

“I understood the reasoning for the initial change. However, in THIS country, what is best for the majority of kids? I don’t actually have a definitive answer.
International youth events are for 0.01% of kids who play the game.”

Last one, a response to the question of Grad Year or birth year and where his thoughts are with the process.

Exemptions not for me. It’s an unfair world.
Find a system, stick to it, everyone plays by the same rules. Adversity and difficulty are both growth opportunities for players in a tough spot physically or maturation wise.

Most DCUM are Snowplow Parents

They don't want little Chad or Charlotte to encounter obstacles or adversities.
The ladder to success is removed and replaced by elevators with an elevator operator.

Lotta complaining but no action.

The only group that I've seen comment about this topic was ECNL during a podcast.

Everything else has been hints, innuendo, "I know a guy" type comments. One of the more recent ones was that an ECNL Techninical Director at some unnamed club said that they believe it will happen. What else is the guy going to say? Back your brand and keep your job situation going on.

It will be interesting when/if GA MLSN or US Soccer comment on the subject. Until this happens it's just ECNL people agreeing with each other.

If you go on the recent college truth X post about the issue. Someone who’s a youth board member for USSF commented that they have recently been talking about the issue.

Obviously you don't know what "hints, innuendo, "I know a guy" type comments" means

That would imply someone giving second hand info. This is straight from a real person that works for USSF.

You got the "info" from someone on the internet that said someone else said something.

That is the definition of second hand info.

Wow, you really are dense.

The info was from a person who works for USSF and said openly in a tweet this is being discussed. Second hand info is me telling you about it.

You seem like someone that’s is so far in the denial closet you won’t accept it until it’s officially announced. Which is fine.

You’re the meme of the cartoon dog in sitting in a chair on fire “everything is fine”

No, I'm waiting for an official statement on the subject from a league other than ECNL.

You like to run with internet rumors like they're facts.

Maybe is a straight up lie to gain social media followers. Maybe it's not. There's no way to prove the statements either way.

Are you saying someone who is on the board for USSF and USYS and has their job title in their bio is making it up to get more followers? Just trying to understand? Because at first it was this isn’t being mentioned publicly by anyone. Now it’s there’s no way to prove they are being honest.

That’s fine you can wait from official statement. But so far we have had multiple mentions openly about what is being discussed. We have 0 mentions openly from anyone refuting this is “not” happening or not being discussed.
