I don’t know why people are so negative about a club that is genuinely attempting to bring a true academy experience to the DMV, unless they’re from clubs who stand to lose.

Other than CC, who are the top coaches you’re talking about?

CC, MJ, and JS (for GKs). Feels like they need one more strong coach to round out the GA program.

I didn’t mean to suggest they are even remotely at that point yet, just that this is what they are trying to achieve. True pathway from ulittle to pro, including their own professional teams for men and women. Ask them. They have a presentation that describes exactly what their goals are and the plan to achieve them. Not sure, maybe it’s on their website.

Keep in mind that VRSC is led by Europeans (Germans and Brits) who grew up in typical European football academies. Their vision is fundamentally different than that of the Americans who lead most of the DMV clubs. Whether it can work in the US remains to be seen, but I sure hope so.
