Lululemon to reopen Bethesda store after killing

Anonymous
Im not so sure I could step foot in the store. Just too sad and gruesome for me.

They need some kind of re-dedication ceremony of that store.
A meditative yoga sit-in in honor of the victim, maybe.

I think that is what they are planning. They are renovating and then going to re-dedicate the store after the new opening. I did not step foot in it before though and probably wont after. Especially since I am kind of disgusted at Lululemon management (upper mgmt especially) in general with how the whole thing panned out.

They should relocate. Seriously. And I'm not the supersticious kind.

Could you expand on this? I probably out of the loop, here. Although, I think it's ridiculous they asked the victim to search another employee's bag.

Ha if I do its going to spark an argument, I know it! Because I stated my thoughts on another thread and got attacked for that. I do agree (and I worked in retail) that it was ridiculous to have to search her (I will not name her anymore) bag alone especially if mgmt knew the girl had a stealing problem. I have to believe the news sources in that there was an issue at the G-town store and she was removed because of it. Whether Lululemon has confirmed this or not I believe there was something going on they knew about, and they did not properly handle the situation. Thats MY opinion so please no arguments!

enough already!!!!!!

No kidding.

And then the should turn that space into a raucous, noisy restaurant bar with high table turnover and live music. That's about the only kind of new use that would quickly make people forget, as they're inside, that a woman had her head cut off in the back area.

Who are you? Get out of here!

I will go there, wait I won't they are way overpriced, I can buy the same clothes for much less. It has nothing to do with the murder.

I am sure we have all been in places where someone has died or been murdered.

Someone died of natural causes in my now-bedroom! The old man who sold us the house told us so and I'm like, thanks, thanks very much for that info I didn't ever need to know.

While they may not have handled the situation well, I doubt they had any idea it would go so wrong. It is wrong to blame the company or the victim: the murderer is in the wrong.

I've only bought one thing at lululemon in my life, although I did sometimes pop in there if I was walking by and not rushing. Personally, I'm not a fan of their stuff. But I could see myself going into the store once it reopens just to honor Jayna's memory. I feel like her murder has been largely forgotten and while it probably sounds ridiculous, I feel like somehow going to the store and acknowledging that it's there is a way to remember her.

NP here. This is America, right? The murderer AND the company are in the wrong. That is all.
