The timeline has boundaries being finalized December 2020 so it will be ready for Kindergarten Info Night/registration that begins in January 2021. |
That should be a fun ride. My kid will be aging out of elementary after next year, but I’m watching the drama with interest. |

“Yeah, he got me too. I asked where they got my email address but got no response, naturally.“
$100 says some parent in your school shared your school directory with the Key dad running for school board. Proud to say he hasn’t gotten mine yet! |
He got me and I'm not in a school directory. Very curious. |
| ASFS parent here, and he got mine. |
| Maybe he got them from Civic Associations? The people in charge of mine are quite old and I could see them handing a list over no questions asked. |
Me too! My kids are still in preschool so no idea how he got it. |
They got my first name wrong. It isn’t wrong in either school directory I would be in. It’s weird- they extended my first name (like Eve to Evelyn), so I’m assuming it involved manual input along the line somewhere. |
You can pay a fee and get a copy of a mailing list from local political parties or mail services. So I guess sinking personal money isn't an issue? I know I am on a number of those lists so I am surprised I haven't been spammed yet. |
I was wondering this. Our neighborhood newsletter just sent out some Key propaganda so maybe the person with the email list shared it with him. |
|
I've gotten APS emails before that went to a large number of people that we're CC'd instead if BC'd. Which is a huge mistake, of course. But I'm wondering if it was from something like that?
Regardless, he needs to explain himself. |
Believe me I am no Krieger fan (he is ranked dead last in my mind) and I really object to how he is using the Padres Charlan list serve, but exactly how he acquired email address doesn't matter at all to me. I'm surprised how many people are bothered by this. |
i support the move, but please try to refrain from judging those you weirdly label "angry." |

Heard a piece on NPR WAMU this morning discussing the vote tonight, and how they are moving the 3 schools.
The rationale for the move was only lightly touched on, but they interviewed a Key parent who said that transportation would be an issue at the new ATS site; no mention by reporter that they would have the option to return to a neighborhood school. |
why should they have to? |
