2029 Girls

KM WILL be a coach for the 2029s. If they can get all the SR girls on the MDDC 29 team, SR will be unstoppable in the coming years. Combined with the recruiting director being from SR as well makes the SR/MDDC combo a no brainer! Better rehash those preset rosters Cap!

She doesn’t have the breadth of relationships Capital has. She will also favor SR girls on this team over all other girls come recruiting time. This is well known in the DMV lax world.

You can’t compare a coach to a program. The coaches on capital don’t have the breadth of relationships, the program does. You know who DOES have the breadth of relationships as capital, and bigger name recognition? M&D

Capital’s relationships are padded because of KJ. If KJ handles all the recruiting for her SSSAS girls, then obviously Capital hasn’t done anything for them. Capital’s only role was to have them ranked high and placed in the top divisions and she handled the rest. They are failing on their role with the current years. I wonder if all those SSSAS girls get into all those high academic schools without KJ’s help and influence? I doubt it.

You guys are all a trip. College coaches take the summer off and head out to destination vacations and just check their inbox to see who their top 5 or 10 h.s. club people tell them they should recruit.

I guess if you hear it enough times or want to believe it so bad, it's true in your mind.

This may be the most uninformed post on this thread. Clearly your kid plays on a team that does not play in the top summer tournaments.

Capital is telling people they need to commit by 5pm the next day, no exceptions. Is MDDC doing the same? Will MDDC make offers to some after the first tryout? It is almost impossible to tryout for both. If you make MDDC can you assume you have a solid shot at capital? If you only make orange can you return to MDDC for the second tryout even if you turned the an offer down after the first tryout (if they even do that?). Thoughts on the strategies to approach this would be most welcome!

It doesn’t matter. If that team stays together at M&D DC those players will be able to go to any college and maybe even more than if they splinter and go to Capital. They just need to be seen by Coaches. The club doesn’t matter. It is there ability to play and be seen. They are a TOP 10 team so they will be seen if they stay.

When in doubt. MnDDC all the way! Their coaching moves are really a strong power play.

Don’t know, but they did have a cut off date, with no exceptions, for the 11th at 1. They could like clarity in numbers and are not interested in being at the mercy of parents playing clubs against each other and dragging out roster finalization
