I couldn’t stand that she tried to leech on to the success of Humans of NY. That account and those stories stand on their own and don’t require Jen to come along and make a lesson plan for us, but she can’t not, right? She has to tell us to ACT, speak up of all the injustices she’s faced being a precious white chick in TX. She wasn’t married to a creep who did a puppet ministry, but goodness if she wasn’t mistreated!!!!

I'm sorry, but $20k for Blackberry Farms?! Or anywhere for that matter?! I don't begrudge anyone's success when they work hard, but I'm drawing the line at shilling crazy expensive Able clothes on the backs of people who are struggling to put food on the table and gas in their vehicles. This is right up there with MLM leaders making their living off the backs of their downlines. Take the vacation or don't, but for crying out loud, stop publicly bragging about it in a time when people are struggling.

The lowest cost is $1895 per person (or maybe per room?) for lodging a night, minimum three night stay. Most lodging costs more. Then there is a service charge, resort charge, and taxes that really up the nightly cost. On top of that you have to pay separate high prices for all the food, wine, and any events or activities you do.

For a week that could easily add up to almost $20,000 for one person!!

You all will go on and on for over 100 pages about how terrible Jen is, but you draw the line at someone’s teeth? Hypocritical.

Between the two out of the blue comments about Brandon and then this, I believe we’ve been infiltrated by Jen.

Be nice to Shauna! She seems like such a lovely person. Her latest book is inspiring and raw and relatable. She went into detail on recent health scares and of course serious stress and fallout from the situation from her dad's fall from grace...who cares how she is aging.

And yes, for years Shauna has been privileged and her writing has shown that privilege and that has not changed. But don't drag her into this thread. She is not like Jen.

When Jen posts like she did today about the toxic church and calls it bullshit and makes cheesy graphics where she quotes herself to herself just remember…She calls Shauna, someone who covered up, shamed, lied and blamed actual victims of sexual abuse, her friend.

I was following this closely and never saw anything like that. Do you have a link? It wasn't on her social media and she wasn't a part of the church when this came out (I believe she had actually been let go from being on staff) so she shouldn't be grouped in with people at the church who were victim blaming. I am genuinely interested in seeing this if it's true.

I liked JH way back at the beginning but stopped following her a couple years ago when she couldn’t get off her soapbox. Thought she seemed fake. I really despise what Shauna did. I’m sure she and Jen were friends before it happened and I’m sure they’ve had a lot of one-on-one conversations but the facts remain. She accused the whole leadership team who brought it out of lying and told the woman she was a liar. I used to admire her but now I know better.
