Ivanka is probably one of the worst dressed women in her income bracket. This dress is ok. But want to point out, she is wearing a mask! You can’t tell if she is happy, unhappy, angry etc. with a mask on. The matchy-matchy mask is lame, like a middle school girl would do this.

People's eyes tell you a lot about their emotions

The dress is one of those rare gems that minimizes her chest and flatters her figure, and then she went and ruined it with the boiled egg look.

And she looks miserable. She’s pretty much perpetually miserable these days.

That dress is not flattering, it makes her look like a hausfrau.

It’s more flattering than the fried egg apron her stepdaughter is wearing.

Marginally. It needs to be shorter. The length and volume is making her look stocky and she is almost 6 ft tall!

Yeah it looks like one of those stretchy dresses you find on the sale rack at Nordstrom's Rack - as much as I loathe her, she is a pretty person and even with her middle aged spread she has a remarkably good figure. It's hard to make herself look THAT dumpy.

I really don’t think it’s so bad. It shows her figure, her waist, and has a flowy skirt. Her chest doesn’t look like a cartoon drawing. How would you make this look better (honest question)? Have the skirt start to drape an inch higher?

Melanie dress: I mean it’s fine but the large while line in the pattern that hits across her hips makes it not particularly flattering. I agree with the Nordstrom Rack assessment. But it at least appears that she’s wearing appropriate foundation garments. So ... win?

Ivanka dress: I don’t think it is flattering because the narrow cut for the shoulders emphasizes the enormous chest. Something about the size of the flower in combination with her chest bothers me. Maybe the gigantic flower would look better if not competing with the size of her chest? Anyway, overall I think it is fine for a summer BBQ with friends. Ridiculous to wear a sundress to a ‘work’ function. But at least there do not appear to be any buttons straining for their lives.

I think it's just a bad dress for her overall. It somehow makes this remarkably good looking and fit 40-something look like she's got a big midsection, wide hips, and jiggly arms. I think she needs a better bra, needs a dress that skims over her midsection instead of clinging to it, needs a skirt that doesn't flare out at her widest point, and probably needs a lighter - or more structured - material. This thick stretchy material does her no favors.

We'll get to the white pumps later.

I think the very large yellow rose would have looked better if it didn't come up onto her chest, with its edge at mid chest. It the rose had stayed on her midrift, this dress would look cute and summery.

I just a video clip of Trump in the Oval today. His orange makeup has been especially mask-like lately. It has gotten so extreme. A pp noted his hands looking purple again. Perhaps he overcompensating for looking ill?

Oh come on, if you're going to choose a flower mask to match your over easy egg dress, at least get the shade of yellow correct. Those little daisies on her mask should be yolk yellow, not daisy yellow.

Others have suggested if the skirt were gored. Or something like princess seams. Agree that having it straight and in a knit or whatever it is may not be the best. A little more shape at the waist would make her look more hourglassy. But it's fine, as others have said, and probably comfortable to travel in. (I hope she gets to take the heels off on the plane!)
