Brewer retired after the 2015 season. South Lakes won Liberty District 2016-2019, 2020 was COVID season, Yorktown won 2021-2023. |
Langley definitely in drivers seat for Liberty Crown in few weeks as they will be hosting either McLean or Yorktown in final. |
Well, they get the home game but they will still need to beat one of them and the first games could not have been much closer. |
| How many teams from each District move on to Regionals? 2 or 4? |
Very true, but they only have to win one real game, while McLean and Yorktown must win 2. Advantage Saxons. |
Top 4 from Districts go to Regionals. Top 2 from Regionals go to States. |
So for all three teams (Langley, Yorktown, McLean), winning the district championship would be nice, but the game that really matters is the Regional semi-final. |
Depends on how good you think Madison is this year. Liberty #2 will likely need to beat Madison to get to States while Liberty #1 and Liberty #3 will either play each other or Concorde #2 in the semis. |

Anonymous sources have informed me that #7 will not play for Yorktown tonight.
Could be season ending. |
Come on wo(man)... |
Yorktown by 1 Battlefield by 6 Robinson by 10 Madison by 6 Westfield by 1 to be different |
| I do think a team like Oakton could be a thorn in a team like Mcleans side come regionals. |
They have been very up and down. Let's see how Oakton does against Madison tonight. |
