Me, either. He has always been utterly repulsive on every possible level. I have never understood why anyone listens to anything he says or makes a deal with him or elects him POTUS, for God's sake, and thinks there will be any semblance of a positive outcome. He only knows how to lie, insult, and grift. I wish I had never had to listen to a single word he has said. Vomit. |
Right but his supporters are fine with it. Same with the Republican members of Congress, only the ones leaving said anything. Honestly, they should be ashamed. |
And nothing will happen. |
His supporters were fine with him repeatedly trashing John McCain, a Republican war hero. So of course they're fine with him trashing Rob Reiner. |
100% |
+1 MAGAs are fine with the n word. |
They would love it. Racism is a feature for them not a bug. |
Yep. They will just distract with the conversation on who's allowed to say the word and why is a problem since some people can say it etc etc. I saw it repeatedly on a thread about a teacher who said the n word multiple times to *middle school students* on one of the schools forums. It's so crazy but not surprising. |
| I mean, he might literally be The Worst Person in the World. Not a single redeeming feature. But the libs and "the elite" hate him, so that's all his followers need to know. |
*Nobody* should say it. You don't have to be a Trump supporter to reject that okay for some/not for others nonsense. |
Yeah, if he ever did cross that line, I don't think it'll be casually forgiven. It'll be a bridge too far for all but his most extreme followers. |
I agree with that. But that’s not the argument to have when an adult in authority has said it. |

We may be hitting the tipping point with media coverage of Trump’s decline. Last night is inviting comparisons with Biden’s infamous debate performance. Never mind the content, the delivery was disturbing.
Trump's crazed address was as unnerving as Biden's debate | Opinion But what stood out was Trump's frenetic, angry delivery. The 79-year-old seemed incapable of pacing himself and sounded, frankly, like an angry, unhinged old man. https://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/columnist/2025/12/17/trump-presidential-speech-angry-rant/87818778007/ |
It doesn't matter. We're so jaded by overexposure to Trump that it will barely register. And the rare thing that does register (like his especially terrible remarks about Rob Reiner) goes away after a day or two. When's the last time the media talked about that? Biden's debate performance was infamous because the American people saw so little of him. And what they did see was limited to scripted speeches. The debate was his first appearance in a long time without a safety net, and he fell flat on his face. Say what you will about Trump, but he does put himself out there. |
