Why no mention of Marc Anthony, who has been married and divorced more times than any of them?

And who thought he'd be a good husband and father for her kids?

Nothing is ever a man's fault, huh?

Who said that? It's why women should choose wisely. Repeated dissolution of relationships indicates a big ole problem with the one choosing all these troubled, irresponsible men.

Shouldn't you be equally hammering down on Jennifer Garner then?

Garner has only been with one troubled, irresponsible man.

At least Garner keeps it out of the tabloids.

And was smart enough to date someone outside of her industry this time.

She didn't before Ben. Only afterwards. She learned her lesson. Time for Jlo to learn hers....again.

She used to overlaps her relationships too. She's messy but has chilled out after Ben humbled her.

She's matured, that's all. Pre-Ben she was quite young. She didn't need to be humbled.

For the kids’ sake, I hope JG doesn’t remarry until Samuel, the youngest, is out of high school.

Or just not remarry at all. What's the point

Marc Anthony chased JLo her entire life until she married him.

And yes, you are implying that nothing is ever a man's fault.

Nope. Saying pick a guy who won't be doing things and engaging in behaviors that are his fault. Pick the kind of loving, kind, and supportive guy who will make a great partner. They're out there, I promise you.

Sure there are! Maybe 1 for every half million women. Not great for a woman like JLo who can't be alone.

PP here. I disagree. I'm an older DCUM poster and think there's too much emphasis today on money and earning money. Scale back and appreciate a lower key lifestyle with a really good partner who's kind, trustworthy, and loving with a sense of humor. IMHO, it's worth it!

I'm an older poster as well. I agree in principle and date all sorts of people, but there are just as many rotten poor men as there are rotten rich ones.
But we're not talking about us normies. This is JLo. Do you really think it's appropriate for her to date an IHOP manager or something?
Liz Taylor, another woman who married and divorced a bunch of times, also tried her luck with a normal guy, and that didn't seem to work any better.

PP here. Someone like Julia Roberts' husband, maybe?

I think her best chance at happiness was with ARod. Shame he messed it up for nothing.

Did you ever ask yourself why that one broad who slid into his DM's was the straw that broke the camel's back? He's gorgeous, rich and everywhere, there's no way that was the first time he had a flirtation like he had with whoever that woman was so my question is just what did J Lo bring to the ending of that relationship (since she has a track record of walking away from relationships). I did not go along with the happy family holiday tree pictures and such, it just looked so forced (from A Rod's side too). There was a lot of unhappiness in that relationship but I believe she has a way of putting her relationships behind her fame. I admire her grittiness and her work ethic however I do not think that makes for a good bed fellow in the long term. And it's not just one particular type of man, she's dated all types, economics to be included, and yet she always seems to have to come out on top. That picture where she tried to get Ben to kiss her (you know, for the optics) I think is her in a nutshell. I do not think she is capable of letting someone know her true self. Know quite a few people who are like that in real life.

Regardless of how rich he is and how gorgeous you think he is, it makes more sense that JLo walked away because it's the first time he cheated, or the first that she knew of.

I'm not really understanding the argument that she has a track record of walking away but didn't walk away from ARod even though he was always cheating but did walk away because a specific person slid into his DMs.

It was the first time his cheating embarrassed her - Hollywood couples look the other way at cheating all the time…as long as you keep it on the dl and don’t embarrass the other.

So she should date for another 7 years?

Sometimes it’s like a trip back to the 70s on this site. Why? The kids already know him and know he’s dating their mom.
