Yup. It means that he is an opportunist and wanted to rape some stranger who was not having dinners with his family on a regular basis. It also means that these girls did not know him at all, and they do not realize how lucky they were that he did not rape them.

This is a case where this man was not an innocent who got into a bad situation. Like the unsuspecting tourist in Saudi Arabia in whose luggage someone slipped in drugs and now no one belives him and he is langusihing in a foreign jail. No. This man was caught raping an unconscious woman behind a DUMPSTER. Her vagina had dirt and pine needles inside. Her life was shattered by his action.

He should be made to suffer, and other would be rapists should remember what the consequence can be. Yes, the justice system failed in giving him a stiffer jail system. But, I am beyong happy that everything in his life is messed up now. And yes, he should not be allowed to coach his future child's team ever because he is a convicted sex offender. But, neither should his dad be allowed to coach his future grandchild's sports team, because this is an arrogant jerk who made his son entitled and a pig in the first place.

I have a feeling the victim comes from money too-possibly even more money than Brock. This is likely how the case went as far as it did-too bad the a-hole judge did not give a long enough sentence. So happy he is on the sex offender list for life and this will follow him forever. His poor victim will suffer forever due to his actions.

Does it matter at all that this victim chose to walk behind those dumpsters with Brock and at some point was kissing him back? It is not like he dragged some unsuspecting woman back there. He actually says that she led him back there. You really think that a rapist is going to dry hump his victim? Seriously? It actually sounds like they were fooling around and when she passed out he opted to dry hump her (not rape her). There is no excuse for what he did but making him out to be a predatory rapist doesn't seem fair

Why did her sister say that Emily appeared fine before she left the party to walk her drunk friend back to her dorm? Why leave her own sister there if she was that drunk?

I don't understand how Emily went from standing/dancing/kissing to passed at cold with the span of 30 minutes either. I don't know how she walked behind the dumpsters. But apparently she did. And within 7 minutes she was out cold and would not wake up for another 3 hours. But she did.

FWIW, on most college campuses they now teach about asking for consent at each stage of sex/foreplay. College dorms I've been in are plastered with posters in the hallways explaining this simple concept. I understand that Stanford teaches this as well. So ignorance is no defense on Brock's part. He is guilty, guilty, guilty.
