Republicans are obsessed with genitalia.

More of this. Less of Bernie.

+1 Bernie’s moment has passed.

I'm actually quite fond of Bernie and his speech. What did he say wrong?

Bernie, squad-leader AOC, and the riot mob outside are not exactly reassuring to undecideds.

Lol. That photo of Kamala.

Looks like she put in a day’s work.

Let’s see your photo.

Oh, she’s definitely put in some work.

Yup. As DA, AG, senator and now VP!

Don’t forget her extra curricular activities!

If you're referring to sex, just say it. Republicans are creepy about sex. Like it's something people don't or shouldn't do.

Um, this wasn’t a sex-joke? (because it certainly came across like a sex-joke).

Hint: it was a low-blow and a sex joke.

You decided to avoid answering the question. Interesting.

But it would be quite poetic for a minority woman to be inaugurated.

yes I was thinking about that too. both the 1st black & biracial man to be potus and 1st black & biracial woman. ofc there's unfortunately still a possibility that trump is inaugurated on mlk day which would sting given his many racist comments and policies over past decades. I will never forget him (a cheap, stingy man) taking out expensive full-page ads in nytimes demanding death penalty for the now exonerated 5 Black teenagers falsely accused of rape of central park jogger.

my bff is an AKA shared with me how emotional she would feel witnessing a fellow AKA and alum of Howard University inaugurated as president on mlk day. harris is still the underdog, but I'm hoping and will work tirelessly to give her the best shot of winning.

Obama is Black, not “biracial.”

One one parent is white and another is black, what do you call it?

Maybe people felt he should have stuck to calling out all ethnic and racial hatred and not qualifying it.

+1. black people have suffered racism forever. Why call out antisemitism? Read the room. There are tons of black people in that room.

Tons of Jews (and people of other backgrounds) as well. Antisemitism has been around forever as well.

And it's all bad. I don't know why some posters feel that the persecution of their group should be paramount

Jews mention antisemitism and they’re accused of making it “paramount.” Can’t make this stuff up. Why do we bother voting Dem?

Because Trump will kill democracy. But it doesn’t make me feel good given the tacit acceptance of antisemitism

Just stop; you only make yourself sound stupid. Even the Post abandoned the false narrative of “trump is a threat to democracy.”

Exactly.

Except when he says things like how he’ll be a dictator only for the first day or how folks will never have to vote again….

Wise people watch what leaders do, and less of what they say.
Most Americans are demanding secure borders. He did it before and he’ll do it again. Dems opened borders on day one. Biggest mistake ever.

Trump killed the border security legislation. You’re an idiot.

Dp.. but Biden had 3 years to fix the issue. Why wait so long? I suspect because people were seeing the news of migrants overwhelming blue states, there was more concern so then Biden felt like he had to act.

He should've taken care if the issue in the first year. That was a lost opportunity to nail 2024

He didn't have the same tools as Trump. They need to pass legislation and stop with the band-aids.

Democrats killed every. single. effective. border. policy. on. day. one.
Exactly what “tools” did Trump have that Democrats didn’t have?

Trump abused a law that allowed him to "close the border" - it was overturned by the courts. Hence the need to legislation, which the GOP wrote and Trump killed.

It tells me that it really isn't an issue other than to keep people like you angry.

Tbf he did start building the wall, that us taxpayers paid for and that was a boondongle. The courts didn't stop that.

Not just a boondoggle. It started rusting out and falling over within months, and was easily scaled with a ladder. Also, that isn't how most people are getting into the country, and certainly not how the fentenyl gets into the country. Biden wanted that bill for months/years. It took that long to pull it together and then trump just killed it. Just like the GOP killed an attempt when Obama was president and when Clinton was president. Trump had the white house, House and Senate - why didn't they pass a bill then?

Yeah the thing about a wall is that it really needs to go from one side to another. I mean, would you bother to build a wall that only coveted like 10% of your back yard? Would that be a good use of money? Or just something for some birds to smack up against?

His plan was to build the wall across the entire southern border. It would've been very expensive, especially giving the contracts to his supporters who had no idea what they were doing.

I don't think a border wall is a bad idea in theory but reality is very different.

And Mexico was supposed to pay for it. And that didn't happen either.

And as I recall, the wall was a very popular promise especially to people in border states like Arizona. He did nothing to help the situation. Therefore he can keep going on about immigrants and blaming it on others. He accomplished nothing except tax breaks.

This went over my head I thought it was a reference to what trump does what his hands when he talks, and Obama realized he was doing it too

Vlad again. He needs to update his dictionary.

"short-fingered vulgarian" was coined in 1990
