Trump doesn't, you are right about that.

We already knew that.

In one fell swoop, she destroyed the legitimacy of the court, the proceedings, and the verdict. She also turned Georgia into a certain red state in November. Trump will win it easily now.

This case feeds into the perception that democrats are dirty and incompetent. And that all these cases are part of a witch-hunt against a former president. It's not surprising he's showing up at every trial now. It strengthens him enormously.

Democrats were given a gift with this state case. And as always, they f#ck it up because they cannot even manage basic professionalism.

Wait. You think that someone allegedly having an affair means Trump didn't commit the crimes in the 91 indictments a grand jury found probably cause to indict?

No, but I question the judgement of those leading the case against him. This was not a time for foolishness. Totally avoidable.

Imagine opening up your credit card statement and seeing your spouse has spent thousands of dollars on expensive trips for someone else.

It's called embezzlement.

The more participants there are in her RICO case and the longer it goes on the more money she approves for her gigolo boyfriend Wade and the more money in turn gets spent on her.

The prosecutor cannot have ANY incentive, perceived or realized, other than the naked pursuit of justice.

Judge in Fulton Co. to hold emergency hearing in special prosecutor Nathan Wade's divorce case at 11:30 AM today.

Likely addressing request to 'unseal' Wade's divorce proceedings/documents and address Fanni's Motion to Quash subpoena issued to her as well.

They were already separated?

I mean, sure, you want your Ex to be miserable and lonely forever but they can and do find someone else.

Evidently, it is highly unusual for divorce records to be sealed. Who do you think had them sealed?
Can't see how Fani gets out of testifying now that we see the records showing he paid for trips for her.

I can't believe we are being taxed to death for these criminals to go on vacations around the world.

It's a RICO case against the former President of the United States. And the DA chooses this time to not only appoint her affair partner as the lead prosecutor - a man with zero experience in RICO cases - but also chooses to lavish gifts, money, airline tickets etc on her affair partner just as trial is about to begin.

The legitimacy of the courts and the prosecutors is all about perception. And she has destroyed it. No one is going to take the prosecution seriously. It is now a boondoggle. It's now just a couple of people having an affair and using their public roles to enrich the other. No one is going to take the prosecution seriously. I guarantee you that Donald Trump will be in the courtroom everyday as the corrupt, married, inexperienced lead prosecutor - who will be under intense media pressure - tries to make his way through an incredibly complicated case. And don't forget the racial angle.

The situation is a gift to Donald Trump. It makes a laughing stock of democrats seeking to prosecute him - they look incompetent, immoral, treacherous. It's a a complicated case regardless. It feeds into the persecution complex that republicans feel. And this particular situation has immediately turned Georgia - a purple state - into a deep red state. Don't even think about putting Trump away for a mandatory RICO prison sentence should he be found guilty. That is how civil wars start.

The DAs poor personal judgement has made it politically impossible to convict Trump. Every day Trump sits in that courtroom as the incompetent DAs affair partner tries to make the State's case, he gets stronger. Fani Willis has all but gifted Trump the presidency.

If all of the allegations are true that she hired someone she is personally connected to, that person has questionable qualifications for the position, paid him more than others in the same position and personally benefited from those funds paid by going on trips he paid for.

All of that, if proven, would constitute serious crimes and if she’s convicted of those crimes everyone convicted in a prosecution she has any involvement with would likely have a strong case to at least receive a new trial.

Many of those cases, due to the amount of time passed, availability of witnesses and other issues would likely not be able to be retried possibly allowing many violent criminals to go free.

When you elect a political hack and possible criminal to be the district attorney bad things happen.

And this was Trump's most serious case. It's a State case. No president can pardon a State conviction. And a RICO conviction comes with an automatic 5 to 20 year sentence.

It really is breathtaking how democrats can mess things up through their incompetence, poor judgement, greed, and general idiocy. It's one of the biggest and most important cases in American history. Who the F chooses their incompetent, inexperienced, corrupt, and very married affair partner to be the Lead Prosecutor? Absolutely amazing.

I can just see the SNL skits on this - would be hilarious! "Lord, I paid all of my special counsels the same rate per hour, oh lord, why are they only picking on one of them, why?, could it be because he is doubly special? does he have any special skills? does he provide any 'extra' service'?..." etc.
