Probably right. But I think people are waiting to see if there will be any variation (8/1 or 9/1) or a waiver type situation. Time will tell. |

Yeah the reactionary poster who says USCS already stated 9/1 so ECNL is 9/1 is completely missing the point. Yes they are going SY, but those small exceptions are what we're all interested in (e.g. current trapped players can play down). |

My kid has a 9/5 bday I’m definitely hoping MLSN changes to 9/1. But if they have biobanding 9/1 won’t stop older kids from playing down using biobanding. |

You’re confused my friend. Currently the rules allow kids to bioband down a year in MLSN. Hence my son’s goalie is a January 2010 playing on the U14 MLSN team. Have a few others but most are the later part of the year. |

You’re wrong go re-read the guidelines they put out they clearly say 1/1,8/1,9/1. |

Most of the governing leagues are just choosing 9/1 but the option to switch to 8/1 is available. |
