I think it is super cold of the royal family to not lay a wreath for him considering all he has done for the British military and veterans. Who are these 'courtiers' that make these calls? I can't imagine his father or the queen denying him this simple request. |
Uh he abandoned his country and won’t even let his family see his baby. |
Okay. ![]() ![]() |
In a pandemic. When his brother and his father were both diagnosed with Covid. Of course he’s going to protect his child. |
So Megs and Harry are the equivalents of sitting US presidents (who are also the Commander in Chief for the US military) and their respective first lady? Did they also hire a Vogue photographer? |
You just argued taking a photographer into a cemetery violates the ‘sacred’. Now it’s not? |
DP. For a world leader, no. For two self promoting boobs, yes. Context is everything. |
I didn't argue anything about sacred. But even along such lines- they are/were the Commander in Chief of American forces in our National Cemetary. Harry and Meghan went to a cemetery in LA and placed flowers for soldiers of the Commonwealth. He left his country and she's an American citizen. They are not leaders of any country nor are they Commanders of any national military. He has given up his royal duties and fled his country. Now he hires a Vogue and Yeezy photographer to take pictures of him and his wife in a cemetery doing cosplay as country leaders because he couldn't convince someone else to do his former job for him in England. |
What cemetery did they go to? One that has lots of British soldiers buried in it? |
In LA. 2 soldiers, one from Canada and one from Australia. |
Oh this made me chortle. Thank you. Spot on. Absolutely. |
Yes this — total cosplay as leaders or official anything |
They are *private* citizens. The royal family places wreaths on behalf of the nation and different organizations. Not for themselves. |
