Vulnerable House Republicans are quietly urging Trump to refocus deportations away from noncriminal migrants and only target criminals.

With Trump admitted deportations hurt farmers, Rs know this is becoming a big problem for them

Wait until they target the construction industry or the meat packing industry or the dairy industry. Business owners will not put up with this.

The undocumented workers in this country are probably about to be saved by the fact that America doesn’t know how to function without some underpaid exploitable group to do the grunt work.

I mean, going back to slavery, this is true.

It’s literally always been this way. Slavery, Sharecroppers, Black People before the end of segregation with low job opportunities, Chinese building the railroads, freshly arrived Italians and Irish, and migrant Hispanic workers. We have never ever been without it. There is a reason everyone has turned a blind eye to undocumented immigration for decades, we don’t know how to function without someone in a desperate position (or forced) to take on the hard low paid jobs.

I'm willing to sign up the MAGAs to do it.

As many as one million illegal immigrants have self-deported.

They need to talk to Stephen Miller, not to Trump. Trump blathers on about innocent farm workers and this is still happening because Trump isn’t in charge of anything, not even his catheter.

ICE rounded up a lot of meat packing workers in Omaha this week.

WSJ praising Trump for these exceptions. Says some of those here illegally have very “Persusasive documents”.

MAGA is going to be so confused. They’ve been ranting Brett for weeks about slave labor and now dear leader is saying “yeah, I’m good with that.”

Time for Republicans to get real about fixing our broken immigration system and allowing more people to come legally.

Plus it doesn’t hurt that boarder czar Howman consulted for an immigrant jail operator:

Trump declares war on the high GDP blue cities

I guess we will see what happens when the areas responsible for most of the productivity in the country get shut down.

(and no, the deportations are clearly not about criminals and gangsters)

The president trying to punish his own citizens really is something. I think he genuinely got really embarrassed for the whole planet to see yesterday.

He is doing Putin's bidding, so its all good.

Destruction from within is easier than a war with Russian troops on the ground.
