Joe is out

The same reason why Obama was referred to as Black while his mother was White.

And back to Kamala. Humans are very interesting. Sometimes we dislike someone just by looking at them. They may actually be really nice people but something about them is off. Sadly for Kamala that's the case and I think it is unfair.

Really don’t care if the POTUS is funny.
Qualified is better

You clearly don't know your fellow citizens. Americans are uniquely known for valuing people who are funny.

YES! And now TRUMP is the senile cranky grampa. Let's make something of HIS age.

And what is this rumor of J Manchin trying to switch back to a Dem to run against Harris?? He is also up there in age - 76.

He backs abortion bans, no chance.

OMG -- if you Dems can't see that you need someone like Manchin to run in order to win against Trump you are wearing blinders. So many Trump supporters would abandon him outright to support Manchin. It's called compromise. It's called unification.

It’s called throwing women under the bus when no democratic ticket can win without them.

Or did you sleep through the referendums in Ohio and Kentucky on abortion?

And yet, she has raised like $40M in just a few hours since this went down. A total disaster.

It’s going to be hard for the Dems to find another Obama. A universal mascot that appeal to seemingly everyone : black white and Asian due to his diverse background

I wish America agreed with you, but instead we got Reagan cause “omg I just want to get a Coors light with him” and then got Hilary over trump- forget what bs hatred you have for the woman- she’s beyond qualified for the presidential post and lost against a repeat failed business man.

The qualifications of the president are still “Would I trust this guy to pass me a Budweiser”

Showing my liberal bias. We also got Obama in part, because he was a smooth talker and very charismatic. He still has a cult following even after butchering the Middle East nonsensically

I don't find Trump funny.

It's more about Americans uniquely valuing anti-intellectualism.

And so much fun to watch.

What is it that you think Trump will accomplish as a lame duck President who will still be dealing with trials, lawsuits, and jail time? Just about everyone in his last administration quit and said horrible things about him. What super wonderful things did he accomplish in his first term? He’s going to preoccupied with handing out pardons to all of his followers from J6 and other loyalists, maneuvering to get all of his federal charges dismissed, handing out awards to Rudy and The My Pillow Guy, cozying up to despots and Putin, building monuments to himself and figuring out ways to go after Democrats. The last thing on his mind is actually doing anything that benefits the country and not him in particular.

You’re aware that Kamala’s staff did exactly the same thing, right?
DP

Cabinet members are different than regular staff. But, you know, not only did Cabinet members not want to come back, but so many people also left during Trump's stint in the WH.

Ok, I can see that you’re not going to acknowledge Kamala’s toxic work environment and all the people who left because of it.

I know someone who witnessed Kamala’s toxic work environment first hand. She’s another bit*hy Hillary, but a bit younger.

um no, they have come out swinging tying Harris to Biden, especially regarding the border mess.

https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4784658-trump-campaign-attacks-harris/

The number of migrants unlawfully crossing the U.S. southern border has continued to drop markedly in July, nearing a threshold that would require officials to lift a partial ban on asylum claims enacted by President Biden, according to internal government data obtained by CBS News.

July is on track to see the fifth consecutive monthly drop in migrant apprehensions along the U.S.-Mexico border and the lowest level in illegal immigration there since the fall of 2020, during the Trump administration, the internal Department of Homeland Security figures show.

In early June, President Biden invoked a far-reaching presidential authority to suspend the entry of most migrants entering the U.S. illegally, effectively shutting off access to the American asylum system outside of official ports of entry.

Illegal border crossings — which were already falling before Mr. Biden's action — plunged further after the order took effect, reaching a three-year low in June.

Try harder.

Why are you Dems so dumb.

I despise Trump to the last molecule of my being.

But, they've done a good job tying the border mess to Harris, and you cannot erase 3 years of the mess at the border in 3 months, especially when the MAGA camp will be pushing this message 24/7.

I think you Dems are stupid smart - there's a lot of educated brain power there, but you don't know how to read the room.

Ok, where do you stand on Trump tanking the bi-partisan border bill that was set to pass?

Of course I blame him. But that's not the point.

Voters care about the economy. MAGA have tied the border mess, illegal immigrants flooding MI, NY, IL etc.. getting shelter and food at the expense of taxpayers, to Biden/Harris. Voters are having to deal with inflation, high housing costs, etc.. and to see illegal immigrants getting housing and food allowances makes them upset.
Heck even the leaders of Chicago and NYC are saying enough illegal immigrants.

Three years of this mess won't be wiped out in three months in the minds of the public.

I honestly don't understand how you Dems don't understand basic human nature.

The economy is improving after what Trump left, there should be an interest rate cut in September (ie soft landing) and the GOP owns the border now after tanking the immigration reform bill.

Same thing.

It is not at all, but you are clueless.

So persuasive! Sorry, turnover of staff is turnover of staff and both candidates have this issue.

PP seems not to want to acknowledge the toxic workplace environment Kamala’s staffers had to endure.

Critics scattered over two decades point to an inconsistent and at times degrading principal who burns through seasoned staff members who have succeeded in other demanding, high-profile positions. People used to putting aside missteps, sacrificing sleep and enduring the occasional tirade from an irate boss say doing so under Harris can be particularly difficult, as she has struggled to make progress on her vice-presidential portfolio or measure up to the potential that has many pegging her as the future of the Democratic Party.

Human nature is also optics. Old, sweaty, rambling dude vs. younger, strong, coherent woman. No brainer.

vance is there to balance that out

Good luck with that. He is a billionaire lapdog.
