The average Republican voter doesn’t care about policy or reason. They just want someone who will trash the other side. They want a brawl, not an election.

Correct. They released an official statement this morning that no one had denied a request for increased coverage and in fact they had already increased SS coverage for him

Quality of life certainly does. My ability to live as a non-Christian female member of the LGBT community definitely does.

I think the witnesses were talking to the local police who were also there so maybe the local police assumed the dude was plain clothes SS himself or that the SS had prior notice or who knows?!

+1 ha, I said the same thing to DH. If there was a second shooter, they could've easily taken a head shot.

Even if that's true that is was local police they were talking to they should have been able to communicate with SS and not just brush off a report of a security threat AND SS should have noticed the guy the same was those witnesses did and they would have known it wasn't one of them.
