Dp- no. They are saying that Russia sucks. All they know how to do is lose. Stay on topic. |
Speaking of losing, today marks the first day of summer in Ukraine and Budanov is now saying the spring offensive was a "psychological offensive" in which they were victorious. I think that means combat ribbons for some people in this thread. |
Just wait til you hear about Russia's Nazi Task Force Rusich (Nazis), Nazi DPR Somalia and Sparta Battalions, Varyag Battalion, Svarozich Battalian, Ratibor Battalion, or that Wagner PMC is named after Hitler's favorite composer and that its leadership like Dmitri Utkin are avowed Nazis. It's not even funny that Russia sent actual Nazis to supposedly "de-Nazify" Ukraine. |
Not PP you were replying to, but it seems to me, as a western European, that eastern Europe just has a number of toxic males who do the neo-Nazi/homophobe/xenophobe thing, more so than western Europe. We have them too in my country, but I feel not as many. There is really no difference in the percentage of Ukrainians and Russians who fall into that category... it's just that one country decided to invade the other, which is ENTIRELY UNACCEPTABLE. |

7 out of 10 Americans view Russia as a top enemy. The 3 of the 10 that do not agree are addicted to porn. Since Russia has cornered the on line market it makes sense.
The west is split on why we fund Ukraine- half want to keep Ukraine free and the other half just like watching Russian people and stuff getting blown up. It really is a 1+ 1 = 3 taxpayer investment. Cannot wait for some more modern aircraft and better weapons to get to Ukraine and permitting them to use in Russia. |
Sure. Western European and the US has more neo-Nazi/homophobe/xenophobe type vs Ukraine. Germany just arrested a bunch for plotting a coup.
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-63885028 France has a ton of them
https://www.france24.com/en/europe/20230508-french-police-under-fire-for-allowing-neo-nazi-rally-in-paris-on-ve-day Spain
https://theowp.org/a-neo-nazi-march-in-madrid-the-rise-of-fascism-in-spain/ Every Western European country has them and we know about the republicans in this country. |
Lol the neo Nazi in the US and Western Europe are about 50/50 male/female. |
Who cares about the headline, it's about the content of the article. You are implying that the article shows how Ukraine is taking on violent ISIS tactics when what it does is discuss the video productions coming out of Ukraine. And just keep justifying Russian atrocities, so we can see what kind of person you are. History will not judge the Russian invaders or their defenders kindly. |
It seems Russia is content to slug it out with no urgency to end the conflict. Like NATO, it thinks its coming out ahead in the proxy war. NATO pumps Ukraine full of equipment that Ukrainians barely know how to use. Russia then gets to blow up/capture all that NATO equipment more easily than if they faced actual NATO troops. Its a recipe for a long conflict. |
No, they aren't. They already lost more in less than 2 years than they did in all 20 years of Afghanistan. This war is not sustainable for Russia. Anyone who thinks otherwise is deluding themselves. |
It's truly bizarre for people to try and characterize Ukraine as "nazi" or needing "denazification" when Zelenskyy, Yermak and many other prominent leaders of Ukraine are in fact Jews. Jews voted into office by a wide public majority. Since when do nazis vote for Jews? Ukraine is second only to Israel in terms of Jewish leadership. Russia, on the other hand, cannot even remotely say the same. |
Bottom line is that Ukraine -- like every other European country -- has Neo-Nazis. Let's move on. |
Preach Anything east of Berlin (actually even Berlin is questionable) - let’s be safe and say east of frankfurt - is questionable A lot of Americans don’t understand eastern euros and think Ukraine is gonna turn into Netherlands or Massachusetts after the war Over in the us you can see how Slavic heritage Americans are more Republican than foundational DAR Americans |
The conflicts are not remotely comparable. Many Russians view this as part of an existential fight with NATO. There are not many Russians who think NATO will just leave them alone if they leave Ukraine. NATO will have to be confronted one way or another, might as well be where you have an advantage. |
