Spinoff, foods you won't eat and why

Anonymous
I'll start.
Beef, mad cow disease. They are lying about it's prevalence (FDA, DOA), and too many of my vet friends avoid beef for that reason.
Trans fat, coronary artery disease.

Any food that is "dry" despite being wet. Example: lima beans

Shrimp, because I have an intolerance to it and end up exploding from both ends

Liver, because it's gross

Lima beans, same as above

Most seafood. I just say I am allergic so I don't have to explain that I don't like the fishy taste.

There is nothing that I won't eat. I have eaten dog in Vietnam and insects in Africa.

Do you make an exception for open range grass fed beef? How about Kobe beef?

Lima beans
Beets

The texture freaks me out.

any type of sausage, including vegetarian...can't stand the smell, taste, texture or the idea of what it's made from. i also don't like any type of fungus for no reason other than it's fungus and grosses me out. won't touch any type of organ meat...texture/gross out issues and pretty much the only fish I eat is tuna or fish & chips w/ cocktail or tartar sauce. I've never been much of a meat eater...when other kids parents were fighting to get them to eat veggies mine were fighting to make me eat meat.

I am a bit concerned that the cause may be something else, since in Europe some farmers said that they never fed the cows with brains.

Fried eggs
Oatmeal (i.e. cooked as a breakfast food)
Cereal in milk

All because the texture grosses me out.

Anything on four legs.

Babies (veal, lamb, etc.) and filtering organs (liver, kidney).

I am fine eating the adult version of animals - just want them to have a chance to grow up (before they are slaughtered and made into my dinner).

And organs that are designed to filter waste/poison from our bodies - I'll pass.

There's very little I won't eat, but plenty I tend to avoid (commercially raised meat, junk food, cow's milk, trans fats, HFCS).

I refuse to eat anything but fruit.

Eggs that aren't cooked all the way. Runny yolks make me want to throw up. I can't even watch other people eating them.
