Who do you think is going to win and why?

I would vote a moderate R over someone like Bernie Sanders 100% of the time. But Trump just crosses a line. I just don’t understand the logic of someone voting for him let alone the real potential he might win.

Just the fact that I can’t logically fathom how someone could vote for Trump makes me think or want to think Harris will win. But when she doesn’t I think the cognitive dissonance is going to just shock us all.

I felt this way the first time and then he became president.

And this time I went into it preparing myself for him to win. I was pretty resigned to it in July based on Biden's performance in the debate and just the general sense there was no way he could win re-election. And I was mentally preparing myself to accept it.

But now I once again find myself shocked at the possibility. And not because i think Harris is just so amazing (though I do think she's runs the best campaign she could have under the circumstances). But because Trump is SO MUCH WORSE than I was even preparing myself for. He's just a malevolent clown. I am shocked that anyone with a brain or a conscience could look at Trump and then look at at Harris and vote for Trump at this point. Here's a nice, competent, fairly centrist (for a Dem), respectable, intelligent person. And then here's an old, angry, insane clown. You have to pick one. Who picks the clown?!?! Why?!?!

Well said.

RFK is a bonus deal to Trump. Clean up our food supply

All comes down to how much are the polls underestimating Trump vs the number of ballots that can be harvested.

But I suspect 300+ electoral college votes and a slim popular vote margin of 1 or 2 million as well.

As Obama said, Trump’s Economy was really Obama’s economy. The one that he fixed after Bush. Then Biden had to fix Trump’s disaster.

lol of course Obama would claim such nonsense. Megyn Kelly burned Maher for trying to suggest the same thing.

So you don’t support government regulations, but want the government to clean up the food supply?

Got it.

Trump.

When you call half the country garbage, or call them nazis you’re really desperate.

Biden tried to eat a babies leg and his escort (I’m not sure it was Jill I think it was his hospice nurse) in a panda suit and your VP who wasn’t elected but appointed by the Democrat politburo calling half the country nazis you’re in a bad place.

When the issue is the economy and illegal alien migration and you presided over a terrible economy and the invasion of 10s of millions of illegals you’re going to lose

Trump will win because voters realize his first term wasn’t that bad, despite his personal proclivities. Harris doesn’t have the gravitas to overcome that.

It really is that simple.

Trump will never get the popular vote. He’s not popular. MaGA loves him but most others cannot stand him.

This is crazy. People have just memory holed his presidency. You want to go back to trying to trade Puerto Rico for Greenland and threatening NATO and sucking up to North Korea because gas was cheap during the pandemic?

I agree with this even as I think Trump has a real chance to win the electoral college. I think there will be high turn out in blue states that will run up the popular vote against him because people are so horrified. I think we're going to see especially high turn out in cities and among communities he threatens (women, immigrants) so even if he gets an electoral win via close races in swing states, he will lose the popular vote by as much or more than ever before.

Trump spent the entire campaign calling Harris supporters garbage and vermin and his rally called Puerto Ricans garbage but when Biden says that’s garbage everyone gets the vapors. The manufactured outrage isn’t going to work this time.

Also it is Trump’s own chief of staff and chairman of the joint chiefs calling him a fascist and wanna be dictator and he has said he wants to be a dictator. That has never happened before in American history and sane people are taking note.

How crazy is it that people like *some* spending but not other spending? Weird, right?

The food supply could use a major overhaul. The factory farming model has helped Monsanto and Perdue and their ilk (and the pharmaceutical industry) but it's been bad for:

Farmers, who destroy their land with an unprofitable and subsidized commodity corn, soybean model,

Animals who live and die in abhorrent conditions

The environment, which wasn't made for monoculture and intensive concentration of animals in close quarters

People who consume highly processed food that makes us fatter and sicker every year.

Just as FDR fixed Hoover’s Great disaster, Carter was fixing Nixon’s and Clinton fixed Reagan/Bush’s. It has been a long line of Democrats inheriting economic disasters from Republicans.

All true, but RFK is not the one to do it.
