It certainly feels at this point that there is no difference between Israel’s defensive wars and its expansionary wars. Other countries and peoples do not have to cede their lands just so Israelis feel more secure, nor should they be forced to live under Israeli occupation.

Until the Zionists come to terms with this, Israel will be a pariah and global anti-Semitism will only increase. It may not be fair to those who do not support Israel or Zionism but you can’t act like Israel does without consequences for all Jews, given the extent to which Israel has held itself out as “the Jewish state.”

Well, you CAN; people who oppose the Israeli government's actions don't actually have to blame other Jews for them. I personally oppose most of the Israeli government's actions on a variety of domestic and foreign policy topics, but that doesn't make me want to punish other random Jews for them. This is so sad. Why can’t Israel be happy with what they have? They have a beautiful country and still want more. They should accept a two state solution and Palestinian politicos that support that (Fatah/West Bank) instead of the ones that want a one state solution (Hamas).

Christians and Muslims have lived for centuries and both speak Arabic. They both eat the same foods and listen to the same music and say the same name for God (Allah). Israel takes advantage of the U.S. including our presidents complete lack of knowledge about the region. In 2003, the Us’s first strike was on an Iraqi church. Pres Bush famously didn’t know what the difference between Sunni and Shia.

If Christians spoke a different language, I can understand how ethnic distinction and divisions could be made but in the end, Lebanon in particular will be a hard country to crack with civil war.
