Unfortunately the only elite team within 200 miles of DC is Coppermine. The rest are also-rans.

This is what I would say:

Coppermine - Super Elite
Hero's - Elite
Crush - Elite
M&D - Now same tier as Stars and Pride
MDU - Now same tier as Stars and Pride

Wishful thinking. MDU will be fine despite losing a great player, they still have plenty of good players to step up and fill that void. And M&D did NOT lose any impact players, while adding a few with great potential. Neither are in any way the same as Stars.

The fact that anyone o the thread thinks stars or pride are in the same league as any top team in Baltimore is laughable. Pride lost a good amount of offense and didn't really pick up the same level and stars is stars. The Baltimore teams got better.

Question for the group. If you all think that mdu and m +d are at the same level as pride where does that out the great capital 28 blue team. Are they going to be as good as coppermine? Heros? My guess is that there will be more migration to charm city next year rather than stay here for capital.

I don’t think anyone will leave Pride or Stars for a MD team but I do agree that ‘28 Cap teams will have a hard time competing with the top MD teams. Regardless, Cap is not about winning games but getting girls recruited which they do a good job of doing.

100% correct - Cap has never been just about winning and beating MD teams. The players play equal time - even in close games - and bring all of their players up. They do an excellent job getting their players recruited and have a great culture with very little interplayer drama. This leads to winning - as shown by the 25 and 26 teams who were both ranked in the top 16 this year.

Don't kid yourself on players from pride or stars moving to a MD team after this year.
I would also say that this fall will determine who got better and who did not. When is the first big tournament that all the clubs will play in.

Coppermine got better.
Hero's got better.
M&D did not get better.
MDU DEFINITELY did not get better.

How do you know MDU and M&D didn’t get better? Have they played a game yet since tryouts? Do you know every player on each team ? GTFO

Obviously person making assumptions, hard to lose your top scorer and “get better”, but as stated, different kids can Step up.

Not sure how much better Coppermine got, still one ball, who scores it will be adjusted. Will be learning curve too.

Wait until next summer when you all start telling each other what's going to happen with Capital without any doubt whatsoever. Oh, what hubris! You all are the gift that keeps giving and I can't wait!

MDU lost the best 2028 player in the world. They did not get better. With respect to M&D, I think they lost more than they gained but I may be proven wrong on that one.

Best player in the world. Nice try.
More like universe and the Milky Way.

How did Pride improve? Someone mentioned they got better but heard they lost an attack.

The MDU middie that left is a good player, but Coppermine already had better players. MDU will still be strong. Explain how M&D didn’t get better when they added players equal or better than those that left?

That just means more opportunities for girls to step up. Clearly they will be better.

They added players equal or better than those that left, just like M&D.
