I’m confident that some babies will be born who otherwise would have been aborted. How many? Only God knows, but it’s more than zero and even one is a beautiful thing—that baby could grow up to be a great leader one day. Every life is precious. Many blessings to you!!

I aborted a fetus with a trisomy. 4 months later I got pregnant with a healthy baby who is the light of our lives. She is an incredible person who I have no doubt will contribute greatly to society, unlike the one that I terminated, who would have cost hundreds of thousands, if not millions of taxpayers dollars over their lifetime and ended up in a home when we die. Our daughter would have never been born had I kept the prior pregnancy. What does a Christian have to say to that?

You're probably looking at 70%+ of abortions covered by that list of "bad" scenarios. This is why trying to legislate a list of carve-outs is a dumb idea. You can't possibly cover every scenario.

Really if your idea of God is some sort of invisible Loki type sitting back zapping human stuff to break it then slapping a bow on it and calling it a gift, that is a strong argument of the need for separation of church and state.
