From what I head on the news is they turned the pipeline back on manually. |
Oh lovely. So a bunch of greasy rednecks are now turning the spigots by hand. What could possibly go wrong there?!?! So glad I have Model S. |
To ensure that fuel gets to the people who need it. Rather than just the people who can afford it. I’ve always thought the price of goods and services should be scaled to the income of the buyer. For example, a POC single parent earning $40k should only need to pay like $.50 per gallon, while a buyer with a HHI of over $200k should be paying $6 gal, and above $400k, it should be $10 gal. That’s fair and equitable. We’re never going to achieve that letting the private sector run things. |
Who cares how it happened? It’s a conversation worth having now. |
Oh, well. I’m glad I barely drive.
This country is addicted to gasoline. |

This country is massive, and poorly served by public transportation so...yes, people need gasoline. |
And you clearly sound like someone who tops the list for being an arrogant, prim, pompous a-s who's filled with a false sense of self-importance. Enjoy cruising in your Tesla Model S. 🤣 |
“Greasy rednecks”? It’s truly no wonder people loathe you. DP |
+1 This is so true. This thread is eye-opening. So many sick liberals. |
Maybe we should rethink development patterns and investment in mass transit and innovative ways to serve rural areas. |
+1 If people chose to live in cities they wouldn’t need gasoline. But all these idiots have to have their own little patch of ‘Murica! and a perfect lawn and a ‘Hemi in the driveway, and then blame Joe when Russian hackers shut down the local gas station. Screw then all. I hope the shortage lasts forever. |
DP, but totally in agreement with PP. If they loathe me, it’s because of envy. They wish they could BE me. |
