Boomer is not a protected class. |
_____________________ I don't know what generation you're a part of, but you really need to do some reading about computer and internet history. I am not sure about the accuracy of Wikipedia, but there are any number of good books (Yes! Books!) That tell the nuanced story of the invention of the computer and Internet. Gates & Jobs were significant players, yes, but they did not invent all that stuff. In case you are too lazy to follow my advice, I will make the following suggestion: Google "XEROX PARC." -- Boomer |
Age 40 and over is a protected class. Are you telling me there are boomers younger than that? LOL! It's sad that you think it's okay to be prejudiced against people as long as they legally don't belong to a "protected class." But the fact is that we boomers most certainly do! https://www.plbsh.com/how-the-law-protects-you-from-age-discrimination/ |
Dear lord. They aren’t protected against people making fun of them, just against workplace discrimination. |
Hey it was the pp who brought up "protected class," not me. I'm just pointing out that they're wrong. You're right, there's no law against making fun of older people just like there's no law against making fun of disabled people, or Jews, or gay folks. So because there's no law, does that mean you think it's okay to make fun of any of those groups? I mean seriously do you make jokes about those people and then tell them to get a sense of humor when they complain about being stereotyped? |
Have you ever watched comedy? Dave Chappelle? Bill Burns? Cameron Esposito? |
| JEEZ. It was a joke, people! |
Mad that you don't get handouts? |
Handouts should be fair. Instead, the boomers hoarded as many as they could. By doing so, they screwed the generations that came after them. |
