Luckily, I don't have those types in my life and we can all laugh about something like this.

It's age discrimination, what part of it do you not get!? NOT funny!

No, it’s targeting a particular generation. Boomers have always been awful, whether they were 37 or 67. When Gen X is the same age as Boomers now, the same accusations will not be leveled at them, because they’re not selfish and entitled. Get it?
Wow you don't generalize much about people, do you? And what do you say about whole groups of people based on their race or religion?

Boomer is not a protected class.

Boomers did not invent the internet. They were just coming out of college when it started.

Not the PC

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_personal_computers

Wrong. Steve Jobs, Tim Berners Lee, Bill Gates all born in 1955. All boomers.

WWE is not the internet.

Also, Bill Gates didn’t invent the PC. And what does Steve Jobs have to do with this?

Gates invented Windows which made PC's user friendly with a graphic interface. Prior to that you would have to interact in DOS on a PC. Also, Gates invented desktop applications which were standardized and user friendly. So yes, Gates invented the PC as you know it.

Google Steve Jobs if you've never heard of him or Apple/Mac.

Bill Gates also invented MS-DOs , which was a huge step up from assembly language (I'm a barely boomer who has worked in desktop support since 1990, and get off of my lawn!!).

I don't know what generation you're a part of, but you really need to do some reading about computer and internet history. I am not sure about the accuracy of Wikipedia, but there are any number of good books (Yes! Books!) That tell the nuanced story of the invention of the computer and Internet. Gates & Jobs were significant players, yes, but they did not invent all that stuff.

In case you are too lazy to follow my advice, I will make the following suggestion: Google "XEROX PARC."

Age 40 and over is a protected class. Are you telling me there are boomers younger than that? LOL!
It's sad that you think it's okay to be prejudiced against people as long as they legally don't belong to a "protected class." But the fact is that we boomers most certainly do!

Dear lord. They aren’t protected against people making fun of them, just against workplace discrimination.

Hey it was the pp who brought up "protected class," not me. I'm just pointing out that they're wrong. You're right, there's no law against making fun of older people just like there's no law against making fun of disabled people, or Jews, or gay folks. So because there's no law, does that mean you think it's okay to make fun of any of those groups? I mean seriously do you make jokes about those people and then tell them to get a sense of humor when they complain about being stereotyped?

Have you ever watched comedy? Dave Chappelle? Bill Burns? Cameron Esposito?

Mad that you don't get handouts?

Handouts should be fair. Instead, the boomers hoarded as many as they could. By doing so, they screwed the generations that came after them.
