The article I posted above gives much more detail than the other sketch articles. The investigation is about the Gaetz’s being extorted with a lie.

This is the real interesting part of the communications to the Gaetz’s:

“The team has been assured by the President that he will strongly consider such matters because he considers the release of Robert Levinson a matter of National Urgency." The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.”

They offered to get him a pardon if he paid them, and purportedly talked to Trump about it. Fascinating.

It doesn’t sound like extortion. It sounds like two people not in government want to be paid to interfere with an FBI investigation. Maybe that involves bribing or extorting federal officials, but not Gaetz. The FBI is pursuing this of their own accord.

Yeah. That’s my read too. Per the information in the Examiner, it sounds like they wanted to be paid to lobby for a pardon from Trump, and used the Levinson thing as cover for the payment. Very curious.

He comes off as guilty of something but possibly other than whatever the extortion is about. If Gaetz has some other stuff his concernight be exposure sue to all the unwanted attention. It could be anything though. It's like a tax audit where they get you for something different than they were originally looking into.

There is nothing wrong with Botox. I don't think it can take care of that deep wrinkle though.
