Does it matter? Fairfax has two credible rape accusations against him. Any woman voting for him is voting for violence against women. |
There had been no mention in this thread of any woman voting for Justin Fairfax, thick skull. |
There have been multiple mentions of posters voting for Fairfax when the poster's gender has not been mentioned. You're not very good at this. You should go do something you're better at. |
I will probably vote for McAuliffe because I thought he was fine the first time. If public schools are not open full time in Nov., I may reassess.
I may be sitting out the primary which I don’t usually do but I’m pretty frustrated with the Fairfax Ds over the last few years. |
the fairfax d's aren't on the ballot?
other than calling for volunteers at the polls, I'm not sure why you would sit out the primary for that reason |
For the third time, JCF is not Justin Fairfax. Stop attacking everyone, you ignoramus. |
I guess just frustrated with VA Ds but fair point. |
Do you have a head injury? Are you an alcoholic? No one is confusing Fairfax with JCF. This is a thread about the VA Governor race. Fairfax is running. Multiple people are pointing out that he is a rapist. That's it. If you can't handle it, then leave. |
+1 ENOUGH of McAuliffe already, and his seat-warmer buddies in Congress. We need new, young people in the mix. |
I am unimpressed with McAuliffe. I received some advertising material from him, and for every tropic, he described how he pile help black people in that area. He did not pull out any other demographic this way, and it strikes me as being less concerned with the majority of his constituents. |
Pile = would. Weird autocorrect. |
I'm undecided between

If you are only now learning that McAuliffe panders, welcome to the Commonwealth of Virginia. But, realistically, at least one of his opponents, Carroll Foy, is making explicit appeals to Black voters to vote for her in the primary first and foremost because she is a Black woman. Terry being Terry, he isn't going to let that happen without a fight. He is giving the endorsements he gets from Black politicians far more attention than the other endorsements he is receiving, and making all sorts of promises about what he'll do in Black communities (apart, of course, from taking steps to make it any easier for Black families to live or send their children to schools in the segregated Langley area of McLean, where he lives in a mansion). |
How is Langley segregated? It’s against the law. Maybe you mean it’s overwhelmingly white. (And rich of course.) If he’s giving more attention to endorsements he receives from black politicians, that bothers me too. It shows he thinks blacks are more important than whites. (Also, I must not be as attuned to politics as some others on this forum. Why is black being capitalized? I don’t see that with white.) I apologize for coming across as naive. I’m just not up on all this “wokeness.” |
Snyder is a Trumper. Amanda Chase is too and crazy but somehow leading!!? Good God. I'm an Independent and I'm trying to decide which primary I'm voting in. Part of me wants a republican gov so we will have a republican Sec. of Education. Really dislike the new equity math initiative that eliminates all advanced math until 11th grade. Thinking Kirk Cox is the least crazy of the Repubs running? |
