Was a nice little show about aging and loss and failure and levels and regret that turned into a CW drama. Putting this as nicely as a possible: the LaRussa daughter is slightly more convincing in the fight scenes this season. |
guess what my husband and I will be bingeing |
Just finished this season. What a mess. Stupid story line that had a lot of holes. |
The show’s gone off the rails, but I’ll continue to watch next season. |
Time to end the show. |
I agree it’s time to end it and I feel like all characters got a good wrap up. I really liked the Kreese ending and thought the slow Mo with the Sinatra was perfect. I also liked the scene of the guys from the original movies rocking out to eye of the tiger in the limo because that seemed both realistic and true to the season 1 tongue in cheek call backs to the 80s. And I loved everything about Chozen.
I hated the whole thing with the ponytail sensei. And the kids were all pretty uninteresting except that Miguel is so pretty. If I were 30 years younger I’d have a serious crush on him. I did sort of like the story line with his dad, and appreciated that they did not drag that out for too long. |
More seasons!!!! More Daniel and more Johnny. ![]() |
Should they cancel the show now and end on a (relatively) high note, or do a sixth season and conclude? |
This careened pretty far off the rails from its amazing first season but that is what happens with really successful shows. They keep getting renewed until they are too awful to go on and everyone loses interest. |
I loved this last season and def want one more to wrap things up. |
What else is there to wrap up, other than the international tournament and perhaps a cameo by Hilary Swank? |
Way too much Sam LaRusso. |
Does anyone think Robbie is slowly becoming the more interesting character? Initially it was Miguel, but now I find Miguel boring! |
I think he was interesting but now is no longer interesting. None of the kids have any real character arc any more except maybe HAwk. Hawks transition from bullied to bully to finding some middle ground has been interesting but I feel like he’s still finding his footing as a person. Sort of would love to see his mom again—all we saw of her was that one call to the school to complain about bullying. That woman probably has had a tough time as a mom. |
