I am beginning to think Robby is the new star of the show. Miguel seems so boring now. I am actually rooting for Sam and Robby!

I'm rooting for Robby and Tory - Tory deserves something good to happen, right?

What do you think of the Kreese redemption story being set up now?

This season was a boring mess and I loved it

No! Tory right now is a psychopath. I would kind of like to see Tory reformed and working with Sam eventually. But I want Robby and Sam.

It surprised me, but I liked it! I wonder if Johnny and Kreese will team back up eventually to defeat Silver. Now he’s a real psychopath!

I think reformed Tory is coming soon.

Yes I think we saw glimpses of it in the final episode. Tory was concerned that she hurt Sam in the final. She also went to the LaRusso home to ask the Mom to sign off so she could get back in school.

I'm the one who said I am rooting for her and Robby - and for sure, reformed Tory is coming.

This show is gloriously cheesy and wonderful and bad and awesome all at the same time. I love it, and I am sad that I binged season 4 because now I have to wait forever for season 5.

I binged too. I had to find out what was next at the end of each episode of Season 4! Couldn’t believe the final episode was actually the end of the season - it left me wanting more. Silver turned on Kreese!

Ugh... I really don't need this. I just binge-watched Kleo and Uncoupled (both good! I was surprised by Kleo as I don't usually think of myself as a German TV fan). But now I need sleep!
I feel like the first season was the best -- not nearly as soapy and really kind of a thoughtful piece on aging, redemption, change, what makes you the person you are....
I feel like it sort of jumped the shark with the insane HS fight scene -- it sort of reminded me of Glee, where everyone just jumps into a song/dance routing in the middle of school. I guess that's okay too, but the writing was definitely more ham-handed. Ralph Macchio, who I like, is not actually a great actor. The Johnny actor is actually a surprisingly good actor and really make the show compelling as a likeable anti-hero.

Season one was so, so good. I watched it when it was still on Youtube Red and I spent the next few months trying to force everyone else I knew to watch it too so I could have people to discuss it with.

What's the word on the new season?

I was surprised to see the Netflix email announcing season 5 was out. I have mixed feelings. I loved the early seasons but kind of hated the last season.

Now I know what I'll watch after I get my booster this weekend. Thanks for the heads up!
