Loved the movie and I’m already sucked in the show. I thought I would just watch the first episode for old time sake and I’m almost done with season one. I’m wondering if it appeals to young viewers? It seems like a show for those who grew up with the movies.

I just started watching this and love it. I let my 12 yo watch episodes after I finish them, so I know the spots when I need to mute or skip. She's really into it too.

I have to agree with you. The show probably won’t be available to younger kids because of the language and all the drinking.

My 11yo humoured me by watching my childhood favorite Karate Kid and liked it to be the one to tell me about Cobra Kai. I wouldn't let him watch it, but also don't think he'd even like it if he tried. HS kids might but a lot of it is fan service for 80s kids.

My 10 and 12 year olds (girls!) loved the show. I’m ok w/ them hearing bad language on TV. It was a great binge-worthy family show for us.

Does the main character have some kind of evolution? Right now it seems like a terrible show for kids.

We've been watching it w/ kids (13 & 12), and yes, some of the language is uncomfortable. But nothing they haven't heard before. We are all enjoying it!
