Nope Im a travel parent but I get the reality that of all the girls in the area. Only a few a good enough to be labled Game Changers. |
That’s probably true, but you should also realize that there are many shades of gray between game changer and bench warmer. Lots of levels in there and there are differences between the players, whether you care to realize that or not. Rather interesting that you’d step into a debate on two specific clubs teams with absolutely zero knowledge of the players though. |
You guys are talking like its Messi vs CR , Its in all actuality girls who can be replaced the same day and within 2 weeks the team wouldn't notice a change happened. Be honest The talent is what you think it is viewing thru your parent goggles. |
Actually, no one was speaking on those terms, other than you. Where does your child play? |
My child plays for a local ECNL team. I see it for what it is pay to play competitive but like they say any given Sunday . Or thats why you play the game. |
Did they get the job? |
More interesting. You identified as a “travel parent” before when you could have easily said ECNL. I’d bet you aren’t an ECNL parent, just a pot stirring parent. Parents of mediocre travel players seem to do that best. |
| ^ definitely same person arguing with themselves. Nobody else has any idea what you are referring to with this argument. |
| * talking about college coach job |
Yes. College coach question person = pot stirrer. Same as rec/travel parent now claiming to be ECNL. Maybe the same person, who knows. |
Sorry for asking if the coach got the college job. |
|
How is recruitment going? Will they field a 07 and 08 team with no players?
Wait to get players means they must poach other teams |
The way I read that post about a college job was not that it was imminently happening, but that people should know that the soccer world is a small one. that a MU coach today could get a prestigious college job at some point, so people should keep that in mind." Maybe I was wrong about the OP's intent. |
that's what their partner clubs are for, obviously. they are able to identify players who are ready for more of a challenge. that's not poaching. poaching is what McLean coaches do when they hide in the bushes to identify talent and then actively recruit them during the season or what FCV coaches do, mainly by using their winter futsal to pull players from other clubs- which was obviously against DA rules, but rules don't matter to some people. |
that was obviously the intent of the post, it's just fun to stir the pot... |
