| Ah I see then not just coaching. I was surprised at their results. Something was off. |
Interesting their first choice to recruit from is DA/GA players and not ECNL 🤔 |
| Did any MU players decide to leave for McLean? |
You will have to wait until they release players no one is stupid enough to put themselves out there like that |
"Release players"? I don't think any club has a hold on anyone who is a paying customer. Not just MU, but all ex-DA players -- you can decide you want a different league or a different experience -- that's your right as a consumer, right? Parents are paying the clubs, this is not like college where the school may be paying the player. |
ECNL was May 1st. DA is defunct so no release issue. |
Let’s take the 05 girls. McLean would win by about 3 goals. I know two of the MU starters. The wouldn’t even make the McLean team. You’re truly clueless. |
Release players means cutting players not hard to figure out nicer way to say it is not offered a returning spot in the May/June traditional tryout window. |
Knowing two players makes you an expert on the club? |
If I’m not mistaken, isn’t a bunch of that very talented MU group previously the preferred Mclean starters who left Mclean for Spirit/MU? Then Mclean had to try to find competent replacements? That replacement team is now better than the original players by 3 goals? do these ECNL shroom eaters really believe what they type or is it all marketing?
|
that's a funny comment. there re 6 or 7 MU starters who would immediately go in and take starting spots on the McLean 05 ECNL team. on the reverse side, there are maybe 1 or 2 that would come from McLean and start at MU. You're hilarious, I know 2 girls, ridiculous. |
Your both insane these girls are interchangeable because none of them are that elite. Please document each roster from last fall. Then compare the names in 6-8 years to see which IF ANY are having any type of impact at a top 10 college or professional team. Look at it for what it is. Two pretty decent pay to play teams and nothing more. Enjoy the process of watching the girls compete whether is to make a club or make their team successful. Don't think this girls are any better than each other. 99% of them are on the same level and either team would be about the same if you did a 50/50 swap of players. |
Is this that nutty rec soccer is best poster again? I thought we had moved past that, as a group. |
you can lump the FCV 05 players into this group, too. I know FCV has fed the parents the line that "our second 11 are as good as our starting 11", but that's laughable. the starting 11 aren't even the best around. there are many replaceable, interchangeable kids on that team, too. make no mistake. |
