Metro United parents — any word?

If I were MU, I would cut my loses and pull out of DC. There is just no need for them in this market, especially when they don't offer anything unique. FCV has a trackrecord of delivering elite players and teams. Arlington has a large pool pf players from which to draw. MU has noting. I hope players and parents are taking advantage of this time to pursue opportunities.

I'm not affiliated with Metro, but one of the coaches they recently brought in is as good at teaching technical skills as any in the area. Previously had worked mostly with boys, including a number of DCU Academy players. I'm not sure why there is some weird desire for them to go away.

Right. Everyone laughed when people foreshadowed the DA end and now your with your little hope you expect GAL to rise them back up to the top like a zombie from Micheal Jackson music video. I believe NPL will have a better league than GAL.

Here is the next future event. Metro will see no one is interested in GAL the families only wanted the DA patch. Metro will either move or end and coaches will likely go to ECNL clubs

They have some very good coaches. Not really fair to judge them based on the Washington Spirit mismanagement and pulling out and now US soccer pulling out. Those decisions which were out of their control definitely impacted their ability to field teams as competitive as the other local DA clubs.
