Virginians — Why aren’t you mad as hell at Governor Northam?

WTH

Virginia has lame leadership in all key areas — Governor and seat-warmers Sens Warner and Kaine. They are ALL do-nothings, and now in time of crisis it really matters.

Expect to see more of these lame posts as the Virginia GOP gears up its "LIBERATE VIRGINIA" rhetoric to show what good lapdogs they are for Trump.

Northam is suddenly today ramping up testing, just so he can keep us on lockdown.

Have you heard a peep from our VA Senators? I’ll wait. They are seat warmers.

+1

There is zero rationale for, in April, enforcing a lockdown till mid-June.

MD is doing the right thing, evaluating the data every 2 weeks and adopting the policy that makes sense at each point.

He wants the cases to jump so we’re forced to keep going to Walmart and Home Depot’s. The man is trying to get all of VA’s small businesses completely shut down. We have a major international airport and a giant naval base so we’re gonna of course see more positive tests but death rates will probably remain low.

I can’t stand that smug racist asshole. Can’t wait til he’s gone.

I don’t know what’s on June 9th, but I did see that some primaries were moved to June 23rd. Not sure what primaries they are though? I am deeply annoyed that we’re on, essentially, the longest and strictest lockdown in the country, but I don’t think it was a political move to screw with Republicans. Just him not wanting to continually re-evaluate the situation like MD and DC are doing.

Everything Northam does is a political move to screw with Republicans.

Sure I am mad - we're last or nearly last among all 50 states in per capita testing. Don't think he's evil, but sure seems ineffective.
Anonymous
Why we should be mad? Except for the lack of testing, that is? Deaths are not super high yet, and he seemed to close everything early enough to make a difference.

I think Northam has been great.

People freaked out when he closed schools for extended lock downs until June, but slowly most all over states are doing the same. Those early calls saved us from false hope and moving goal posts.

Northam is the most Pro Life governor Virginia has even had.....
