Best Meal to Bring New Mom

Anonymous
Make it fresh, easy to reheat, and moderately nutritious.

BBQ chicken drumsticks with rice and a big salad
Vegetable soup, bread, and fruit salad
Beef stew, egg noodles, and steamed green beans
Ham and cheese quiche, fruit salad, and croissants

If you’re not into cooking, go by Whole Foods, Costco or Trader Joe’s and assemble premade things:

Rotisserie chicken, macaroni & cheese, and green salads
Hummus, grape leaves, olives, pita, and a veggie tray
Savory tart or pie, bread, and roasted veggies

Or give a gift card. Or a fruit and veggie tray and some snacks. Or opt out of the meal train and you’ll have nothing to worry about! It’s an option to participate not a mandatory sentence!

Yep!!!

NP I never asked for a meal train! My friends just kindly delivered food to me And I returned the favor when my friends also had babies or were unwell.

Imagine that

So you accepted food your friends made like a normal mean train? Because what is critiqued here is this:

"The parents are very busy and are kindly requesting that no one stop by the house for the first few weeks and so will not be accepting home made food or any dropoffs. If you would like to support the family, please send giftcards to them so they may order food."

I loved any food I didn’t have to cook.

Was this Meghan and Harry by any chance? What a lovely example of Royal entitlement!
