This smear campaign is hilarious. It's crazy how Bullis drives people nuts-o.

My kid is going to Bullis in the fall. I read all of the negative comments. I heard all of the positive comments. My kid visited. My kid loved it. My kid knows a ton of kids who also love it. My kid heard stories about bullying. My kid also heard stories from people who absolutely love it. I really liked what I heard and what I saw. I'm hoping for the best.

I actually think there is value in hearing the negative comments. I will approach the school year looking to be proven right and wrong. We can always make a different choice if it doesn't work out. Again... I'm just hoping for the best.

Why would anyone envy a place anyone can go? Genuinely asking.

Won the National Championship in lacrosse on ESPN last month for the whole nation to see. Some people envy that. So that was a shot you took in your comment above; made you feel good to write I'm sure. But that's a potential answer to your "why" question. Do you envy it?

If i did, my kids would go there.

In short, no. And neither does anyone else.

^^^ Here is a prime example of just one of the many kinds of bullying that is accepted at Bullis.

Do you have proof that Billie is failing financially? Have you seen tax forms or documents? It’s never been the most prestigious but that’s doesn’t mean it’s about to go under.

It's no different when applied to "kid probably couldn't get into Sidwell" or "kid probably couldn't get into an Ivy". FYI, there is bullying at all schools. Seeing so much of what is written here both in defense of and against Bullis, I can see where most school bullies (all schools included) learn their behavior from.

Genuinely answering. That's just not true. I know it makes people on this board feel good to think that their kid got into a school that is perceived as more prestigious that Bullis. I get it. There are people that actually choose Bullis. Shocker!

I'm sure there are people who chose Bullis for their child and are happy with that decision. And that is just great for them. Like really great, that's all we want for all of our children. You win. So stop. No hard feelings and no "envy for the small".
