The madman lost me when he said MU is completely made up. After that it’s just rantings from a lunatic. Will his DD show up next year for the FCV / MU games? Why would you if you don’t think the opponent exists? He probably does not think STJ / FCV news is real either.

Question about a different "bigger plan":

Has anybody heard anything about the BRYC "Head Family" creating their own Academy to feed the nvufc team? They seems to be a lot of pimping of the nvufc tickets and merch all over BRYC twitter. There is a lot of nepotism to be fed, and a smaller club isn't gonna get it done.

Academy for a summer team?

They only play 9 games over the summer. Current roster has college kids and recently graduated college kids who played for Loudoun, Arlington, Bethesda, of course BRYC because of Welsh.
Seems like a fun thing for good College players to do in the summer.

i doubt MU will last longer than a year. These parents make it sound like these nice guys started a soccer club to help out the poor children. BS. They are trying to make money here, because its a business. They just saw CZ make money and now they want some too. I'd rather light my cash on fire.

I don't remember the start date, but we had friendlies in August, at least 3 I can remember, leading into the fall season.

What makes you think CZ made any money from FCV?
