Crosby,Stills & Nash- Helplessly Hoping

The songs with soulful lyrics and an upbeat track really speak to me.
Adam’s song For the first Time by the script Somewhere only we know |
I still love this song. It's too bad they're such lousy singers live. They really know how to write songs. |

So many excellent choices on this list. Some of my favorites are listed below. I tried to only list those I haven't already seen on here, but I apologize if there are duplicates:
First a couple of classics: Eleanor Rigby - the Beatles Hallelujah - by about a gazillion people, but I love Jeff Buckley and kd lang's versions. Mary Chapin Carpenter's Ten Thousand Miles: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8M8lssnf44 Jonatha Brooke wrote Time when her mom was in hospice. She compiled some songs into a play, but her song itself starts at about 1:15. I first heard it after my mom's death, and it can still make me cry. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atvqubwXnrY |

Don't know if this is what you're looking for but I love Queen Jane from the movie inside Llewellen Davis. So moving.

Thank you. He passed this morning. I truly appreciate your kind words. I’m raw right now, but these songs will help me get through the next long while. Take care. |

| Everything is Free Now - Gillian Welch version |
Is that the Leonard Cohen song? Basically everything by Leonard Cohen is sad. |
