David Hogg just got into Harvard

Anonymous
Gun fetishists can’t even spell “SAT” much less Harvard.

Congratulations, David Hogg!

I think it is sweet that so many posters are impressed with Harvard.

A Harvard education is impressive and always will be, PP. Stop pretending it isn’t.

(DP)Nope. I’ve met too many Harvard Alum to believe that nonsense.

To a person - literally EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. - the most significant thing they ever accomplished in life was getting into Harvard as an undergrad. That’s it. They peaked at 17.

Then why does anyone care that Hogg was admitted?

This is not good. Harvard will only sharpen and refine Hogg's cognitive abilities, making him better equipped to carry out his evil plan of taking away my guns!

Literally eight of 45 presidents either went to Harvard as undergrads or grad students. But continue to pound away at this kid, and this university, for love of guns.

Harvard sucks, Santa's fake, the Fed is ruining my beautiful economy, I'm home alone.

Congratulations!

I feel the same way about Trump’s election.

Because EA/ED decisions just came out. Lots of helicopter parents pissed that Hogg was admitted to an Ivy and their kid (obviously much more deserving) was not.

I’m assuming you aren’t planning on retiring in the next 5 years?

You can’t even spell “alumni”, PP.

Hahahahaha, so I’m not allowed to use abbreviations now? THAT’s your retort?!?!?!?

Stuff like this is how we know we have you beaten.

David Hogg was instrumental to a movement that helped get the first new gun control laws passed in Florida in decades. I can’t think of any teenager much more deserving to get into Harvard.

It says a lot that someone so average would even have the gall to apply to Harvard. A true opportunist squeezing every last drop from a local tragedy. And obviously it’s a joke he was admitted.

Serious question: Do you think Trump, Bush Jr., and Kushner should've been admitted to their Ivy League schools? I'd say Hogg has better writing and oratory skills than all three and he hasn't even been to college yet.

Kerry? Gore? Or does your rant only apply to Republicans?

You must be slow. The point, which you seemed to have missed, is that largely conservatives are making a big deal about Hogg being admitted to Harvard because his SAT scores are low by Harvard standards, but not so much for the children of conservatives who aren't seemingly too bright.

+1. I bet Hogg’s scores are higher than many of the legacies Harvard lets in. And he’s actually accomplished something in his life without his parent’s help. Good decision by Harvard.

Judging someone's writing ability based on twitter has to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

Why does someone spend days and nights attacking a high school student online? It seems like this poster always wanted to be the mean girl in school, but was likely the victim of bullying. Attacking someone who will never hear her words, in an anonymous forum, is a close as she will ever get to revenge against the girls who tormented her.
