Wow, spoken like someone who has never been an activist. |
| The syntax of his tweets and his vernacular suggest a teen who doesn’t read, at all, and he has the writing ability of a bright 7th grader. I’m not being hyperbolic. It says a lot that someone so average would even have the gall to apply to Harvard. A true opportunist squeezing every last drop from a local tragedy. And obviously it’s a joke he was admitted. |
SAT is an IQ test. The only people who are in denial about that fact are those who bombed it. What, you think inflated bullshit A’s for showing up to class measure something? 50% of all high school seniors have an A average GPA. Grades are meaningless without a high SAT score verifying your capacity. Average IQ kids getting let into elite colleges is why top firms are asking SAT scores during job recruiting. How did Jeff Bezos meet his wife? He was interviewing her. What attracted him to her? He knew she had a near perfect SAT score. High IQ. |
Serious question: Do you think Trump, Bush Jr., and Kushner should've been admitted to their Ivy League schools? I'd say Hogg has better writing and oratory skills than all three and he hasn't even been to college yet. |
I don't recall anyone asking for SAT scores when interviewing with investment banks and management consulting firms. |
No, none of them are/were qualified, including the young man Hogg. Family wealth and/or partisan juice and/or skin colour should not be factors in admission to the finest universities in the world. |
SAT is most assuredly not an IQ test. Try again. |
Yes and if it wasn't, why would people be making a big deal about Hogg supposedly taking a space from someone else? |
Trump supporters reserve the right to contradict themselves within the space of three posts. |
Ha ha! So true! |
It's curious that you - and others - have brought up Trump repeatedly in this thread. Exactly what does Trump have to do with any of this? Plenty of us did not vote for him and yet can still feel that Hogg's acceptance to Harvard is nothing more than a stunt, much like the #BlackLivesMatter "essay" applicant was for Stanford. It's cringeworthy. |
So you say. |
(DP) Nope. I’ve met too many Harvard Alum to believe that nonsense. To a person - literally EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. - the most significant thing they ever accomplished in life was getting into Harvard as an undergrad. That’s it. They peaked at 17. |
No, he wasn’t. |
You can’t even spell “alumni”, PP. |
