Yes. Let the suckers pay for TJ and only dream of sending their kids. ![]() |
Seriously? Comparing a high school to MIT?! Lol. |
There is no better science magnet high school in the country. |
It's a HIGH SCHOOL. No one cares where you went to HS after day 1 of college. |
I don't know about cheating and backstabbing, but it would change the culture of the base schools in a very negative way. Seriously, I'm happy for TJ. Let the kids/parents who want high school to be "harder than college" go there. Let the sane people have the base schools and end up at the same colleges. It's a win all around. I like that the craziness is sequestered. |
Right. Let's squester all the drugs, sex, partying, bullying, violence, back stabbing, elitism, racial discrimination etc. to non-TJ schools. Great for TJ! |
TJ bashers are getting clobbered. |
Lmao. You just compared a high school to a college. Wow. No comparison at all. |
Not really. TJ supporters keep coming back for more. They can't face reality. They put their kids through hell just to end up at the same college as a top base kid. They're embarrassed! |
TJ parent: My kid went to the "top math and science magnet school in the country!"
Base parent: Wow! That's amazing! What college did he/she end up at? TJ parent: UVA. Base parent: Oh, that's where my kid is going! TJ parent: But high school was like MIT for my kid, so it's almost like my kid went to college already. Base parent: Put down the Kool-Aid. LMAO. |
|
^. The irony is that some TJ parents do talk like that. |
I just fired a TJ grad today. I caught her fudging data. No second chance. |
I just hired a TJ grad today. Very qualified candidate. |
