Carrie Underwood’s accident

That poor girl! Whatever she is dealing with, it's not pretty, and she certainly doesn't need cats like y'all speculating and being rude.

That scar was not made by a surgical cut. The poor thing fell flat on her face when she was taking her two small dogs outside. It was the sort of stupid, random accident that happens every day to normal, every day people. This time it happened to a star. She's just as human as the rest of us are. I'm glad to see that she has healed so well from her injuries.

Wrong. Watch her latest single run up the Billboard country chart. Watch her next album run up the billboard country chart. Watch her next concert tour dates sell out.

Lol, calm down superfan.

If that’s how you define backfire, then we agree.

I think she’s hella talented, but I’ll say this... She was rather plain looking (originally) on Idol. Time, work, and stylists have made her amazing “physically”. She is stunning now. But I don’t imagine that hasn’t come without work and sacrifice on her part. She landed a huge and handsome sports star (not without her own merits, but still). And I suspect she still often feels like the plain girl, despite her current realities, which many of us would be envious of. It doesn’t change HER current reality, which she is now super hot and a lot of her marketability is based on her looks. It must be a hard place to be.

I’m of the masses and think she looks as amazing as eVer, but I imagine when you spend so much time, emotional, and physical effort on looking “perfect”, even a well executed plastic surgery loooks awful to you.

The plastic surgery remarks and speculation are ridiculous in this case. Yes, I know “everyone” does it. But no one has suggested a single difference in her face from the plastic surgery. And no celebrity plastic surgeon (outside of a back-alley bad movie con artist) could ever manage to leave a raggedy scar from lip to nose.

Where did you hear that?

So many haters claiming Carrie was just drumming up drama. I could see her visible facial scar and also her (over) emotional reaction and assumed what to me was obvious: she’s dealing with secondary fertility issues. And how, 3 miscarriages in a short period of time. If she recovers, gets pregnant again, releases an album, then why can’t it be ok that she lets a plastic surgeon fix what the ER doc obviously couldn’t?

I can think of about a million harder places to be. Perspective, c'mon.

There’s a fb post, maybe the Predators, but she had a pic from when she was at a hockey game and you could see a jagged scar line from her lip to her nose. Her lip area also looked messed up when she performed at a country awards show. Seems pretty clear she had the scar area fixed. Why wouldn’t she?

Oh yeah... losing three babies in a year. At least she has money to comfort her, right?
