just came across the thread, for the record I'm from Ireland and Declan is a very common name - nobody would bat an eyelid at it. |
Don't name your son Kieran though, here everyone will ask you why you named a boy "Karen". |
Bruno.

I knew a Calvin once, went just by Calvin. Your DH didn't happen to work in Afghanistan, did he? |
Girls: Amanda, Anastasia, Brenna, Cassia, Caroline, Constance, Frances, Jacklyn, Lauren, Mary
Boys: Brenden, Brooks, Charles, Connor, Caleb, Donald, David, Duncan, Eric, Garett, Garick, Henry, James, Jason, Liam, Patrick, Victor, Warren |
I like most of these names, but if the goal is a name not too popular then I would probably avoid Liam, Henry, Connor, Caleb, Amanda and Caroline. |

Bruno is my FAVORITE boys' name but my husband did not cooperate the first time around and now that he finally agreed we found out I am having a girl! |
Gracyn |
How about Brunette! ![]() |
I personally LOVE Gracyn. We're having a boy, but that was my 1st choice for a girl's name. (Although it could be used for both....would probably spell it Grayson for a boy.). My husband wasn't as fond of it, so sadly if I ever do have a girl she likely won't have that name, but I still love it! I think it fits in the 'different but not odd' category perfectly. |
